Jeff Green could never do what Jaylen already can at age 20 to consistently get to the hoop or at least nowhere as good as JB attacks it.
Jaylen is clearly the best talent on the Celtics, albeit he is still very raw.
I'll feel bad for Isaiah and Al Horford if they miss out on title #18, but I am ready to strap myself in for the long haul.
Our best assets are still in the NBA incubation stage including Marcus Smart with Brooklyn currently tied with Philly for the worst record in regards to tankathon. These could be bridge years and there doesn't have to be anything wrong with that.
Al could be winding down as a max player by the time we are ready. Somehow Isaiah may not be resigned. Why would Danny throw away almost certain success by sticking to the long route by instead cashing in all the chips for a crapshoot small window?
I'm almost ready to give up on Olynyk. I don't like what I'm seeing from him. It's a shame because it seems to be psychological. Too many games he plays as if he doesn't deserve to be in the rotation.
Brown is 20 and a rookie. That's his excuse. I am tired of sticking up for Olynyk. He either gets his act together or I hope he's traded. Smart improves on things each year other than shooting. Bradley consistently reshapes his game for the better even when it looks like there can be no more ceiling.
Olynyk could learn from Brown who is introspective and working hard. What has Kelly been up to the last couple years? This is his fourth year. He is out of excuses.
But the thread is on Brown. Take care of yourself, Rollie. Stay positive. Avoid stress if possible. Eat and sleep well.
