It was a disappointing game. But even the '07-08 Celtics lost some games they shouldn't have (or 3 games they shouldn't have in the case of the first round against the Hawks). So let's not overreact about one game. They aren't up there with Cleveland yet, but they made it a game.

Led by a rookie center by the name of Al Horford!!

Mostly led by guys like Joe Johnson and Josh Smith (and even Marvin Williams) but yes, Horford was around too, blending nicely into the background.

That was back when Al rebounded. He averaged 13 and 10 against us that series.

I get a little sad thinking that Horford and Amir averaged a combined 18 rpg in 65 minutes (close to 10 rp36 each, if you want to look at it this way) as recently as 2012-13.

This Celtic team has a strange personality. Last nights game was telling.

Our star player is a player we sometimes play better with, on the bench. His ball dominance, never mind his lack of defensive presents, causes this team to struggle. When IT isn't "ON" we sometimes have problems at both ends of the court.

If "soft" is a word you feel isn't descriptive enough, after the team is out rebounded 56 to 35, and 13 to 6 in offensive rebounds, and is next to last in the NBA in rebounding.

How about being "rebound challenged" due to lack of desire, physical size and ability.

There's a 6'11 Scoring Rebounding machine across the country that would probably desire winning. If only he shoots 3s as well as IT4 does.. oh wait.

This is an awful rebounding team.  We need a big strong rebounder to enforce and grab the big rebounds late in the game when needed.  DA is not listening and the Cs will never win another championship until the rebounding big man arrives.
