I really hope he has 2 maybe 3 years of this high end play left....tired of this one man show...every year , its the same guy making the finals

i don't know...maybe he will be able to extend it to 5-6 years

if all he does is sit half the year...picks his nose...chummy up with the refs

then suit up in the 2nd part of the year ...stroll into the playoffs (even 6th place) doesn't matter...and turn on the jets in the playoffs

In the 90s got fed up of MJ that I wanted some other team to just beat him up..well no one ever did..I mean had he not retired in 93 he would have gone to the finals during the times he was retired...then he came back in 96 and still dominated upto 98.
Now we have Lebron who is stronger and frankly more dominant physically. He has been dominating the East since 2011 and there seems to be no signs of a let up unless he encounters a freak injury. Could literally play competitive til age 40 which is 8 more yrs of domination..that is unprecedented.
Im guessing some team from the east will eventually topple him and his Cavs but probably not in the next 2 yrs. Because I still can't see any other team in the east with enoughfire power to stop them...could be us but we need a KD type superstar to help IT and Horford. Hayward Butler and George are sadly not enough.

you know what would be the worst... Lebron wins another championship or two... and before another team can make him drop to his knees...he retires

As long as HE wants.

I don't see him playing this game until his late 30's.

I can see him walking away from the NBA while he's still an elite player. He takes good care of himself.

He has a TON of business interests and he's already been in a movie.

"IF" CLE gets by us and then beats GSW he could very well hasten his exit.

What else would he have to do? Seriously? Back to back banners in CLE, his fourth ring and numerous Finals appearances would cement him among the all-time greats.

Back to back banners in his hometown would be AWESOME for him and if they beat BOS I'd certainly root for him and CLE to beat GSW. Send Klay Thompson packing - perhaps to US one day?

1.5 to 2 more years of top level play before his knee or back blow out.

Are you really comparing Ortiz swinging the bat 4 times a game as a designated hitter that doesn't even play the field to Lebron playing 35 minutes of basketball a game against 7 foot 300 pound men? . Seems like quite the reach to try and take a dig at Ortiz that doesn't fit.

Dont' think he will be completely satisfied until he wins 7 rings (1 more than Jordan)

the guy is obsessed to want to be the greatest of all time...  you can smell the desperation a mile away

The way he has danced from one stacked team to another ...

probably till he has a KG type injury that seriously reduces his athleticism , by the time he recovers father time could kick in.  D Will I think is close to Lebrons age , but moves like a 40 year old player .

My wife is a PT ,  she says Lebrons DNA for his bone and muscle structure should be cloned.

She sees young Marines in their mid twenties with 40 year old wear and tear.

Lebron should be cloned as the next super soldier .

I think he will be this good untill his drive is there. How long is that, that is hard to predict.
So far he has been hungy for 14 years and he doesn't plan to stop now.
