5 straight Finals appearances and loooks like he is headed there again barring injury.
Played 40 minutes in a no bearing regular season game that has only bragging rights as its merit...well sort of but they certainly dont win if he just played his usual 34 minutes.

The man is perhaps an alien or some sort because at what.. 32 yrs old he is still better than any player not named Durant...and even Durant is getting frustrated becauae it seems he wont win his ring no matter where he goes til Lebrick starts to..well brick his shots which might not happen til he is 36.

I mean the Cavs are basically Below Boston right now if it werent for LeBron.

With playoffs, he is playing close to 100 games per season.  Still, I don't see signs of him slowing down just yet.

I thought he was starting to slow down a couple years ago, but apparently that was just his back giving him trouble.  He's amazing, and I'm appreciating him far more than I used to because he conducts himself far better than he used to.

All this talk every year about someone else being the best player has been somewhat understandable at the time.  But when the playoffs start I would rather have one Lebron than both Curry and Durant put together.  He's that good.

Living in Cleveland I see James a fair amount.  He doesn't do this every night.  He coasts a lot during the regular season so that he can give maximum effort in the games the Cavs need or want to win like yesterday.  It is why he takes games off every so often.  He just can't give that sort of effort night in and night out and remain effective.  That said he is still playing almost 37 minutes a game and has taken just 2 games off thus far this year, though he will likely sit tonight (Irving probably will as well).  I'd expect to see an increase in nights off.

Westbrook is better than Lebron and Durant now.

I don't think so.  If James was in OKC with that team, he would be putting up similar numbers and playing better defense.

Statistically.

No, he's not.

advancements in, ah... "nutrition" will keep him relevant for many more years.

Silver and the refs will have his back, too, he's too big a moneymaker for them to just let him fade away.

As good as Lebron is, the Cavs are going to need some more pieces if they want to beat the Warriors in a 7 game series.

Kylie and Love are all star level talents, so let's not pretend that LeBron is doing it by himself like he was many of his first years in Cleveland.  And LeBron has clearly lost an entire step from his time in Miami.  That's one of the main reasons he left, because he could see Wade in decline and Bosh was not going to fill the void and knew he couldn't carry that load anymore.

He's still healthy and still arguably the best player in the league but LeBron is in decline already.

He's in decline, in that he doesn't dominate the regular season like he did previously.

In the playoffs, I don't see any decline. If anything, he's better. The physical skills aren't quite peak, but Lebron's mental game is next level.

This years Cavs are better than last years, LBJ turned a soft Kevin Love into as much of a "warrior" as he could be turned into. Love is playing much more freely, and just smiling more. Funny what a ring does. His numbers attest to it. LaBron is letting the dogs off the leashes this year, everyone is playing free and easy. Everyone knows what's expected of him on defense, to stay out of the LBJ dog house.
He's the team conductor.

I think we can look forward to seeing this version of LeBron for another 2-3 years. He hasn't even had an injury of significance in years. He still has that 6th gear where he can just dominate for enough time to move the team forward a notch.

GoldenState should be ready for war, in this years finals.
