Not sure why anyone should care about those.  This is The Process:

and of course there is Simmons too plus their two top 10 picks this year.  Okafor and Noel could be complete busts, which they aren't, and it won't matter if Embiid stays healthy and Simmons comes close to his potential.

Five bucks says Noel is traded to Portland for Crabbe within the week.  Noel would fit great in Portland and Philadelphia could really use Crabbe's shooting.

The new revelations about the CBA in relation to RFA make a potential Nerlens move much more palatable for us.

Crabbe has a NTC this year, so he'd have to be willing to go to Philly.

I think there's also some added animosity between Noel and Brown now, too. Brown has handled this entire Noel situation very poorly, but just listen to how he talks about him:

Quote
#Sixers Brown on Noel: 'I feel worse for Richaun. ... Nerlens missed everything. He hasn't been a part of us.'

Quote
PHILADELPHIA — Nerlens Noel is the odd man out in the 76ers' big man rotation, at least for the time being.

Prior to Sunday night's home game against the Nets, 76ers coach Brett Brown said that in addition to starting natural centers Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor for the third straight time, he doesn't think giving regular minutes to all three is realistic.

"I intend on going with two of those three bigs tonight," Brown said. "Nerlens will not be one of those people, unless something happens with foul trouble or some other circumstance. I feel that trying to force-feed three bigs in a game is unfair.

"I assume we're going to stick with this rotation for a while. It's a group I want to persevere with. I want to continue to grow those two guys."

Brown said he spoke to Noel about the situation and believes Noel is "in a very unfortunate situation."

For his part, Noel he's not surprised given that he saw it coming on media day in late September and spoke about it then.

"A lot of people know it was going to get to a point like this," said Noel beforehand. "Now I'm the one that's in it. I'm going to deal with it the best way possible. That just means being a professional and getting better at every aspect that doesn't involve being on the court and being in the game."

Noel missed the season's first 23 games due to elective left knee surgery, then made his 2016-17 debut Dec. 11 at Detroit. He sprained his left ankle in the game, forcing him to miss Wednesday's home drubbing by the Raptors.

Noel only logged eight minutes Friday against the Lakers, causing him to say "I'm too good to be playing eight minutes. That's crazy. We need to figure this (stuff) out."

Noel, a fourth-year pro who can become a restricted free agent in July, doesn't believe those remarks had anything to do with this.

"I think this has been decided a long time ago," Noel said. "It's been something that's been set in stone. That's why I've been staying content and just focused on bettering myself and the things I can control."

Noel didn't play in the 108-107 victory over Brooklyn.

Brown said this decision was made by a group that included president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo and ownership.

As for Noel, who has been involved in trade rumors since June, he says his reaction is "to be the smartest and most competitive way about it -- just seeing how I can continue to better myself with how the standards are now."

"I feel like I'll just continue to stay longer after practice and just get my shots up," Noel said. "Regardless of what the situation is now, I'm going to keep working on my game."

I mean, this seems to be coming from the very top of the organization. They've totally screwed Nerlens Noel in this situation, and it's soon going to become toxic, even more so than it already is. You have to think that his corner has quietly demanded a trade already.

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything. The point of these tweets was to show how mismanaged this entire situation has been and how it has screwed Nerlens Noel the most.

Noel chose to have elective surgery at the start of the season.  He said it was because he had pain last season so why didn't he have the surgery right after the season.  Then he goes on his media rants.  He could have started the season healthy and presenting a positive outlook.  The Sixers would have had every incentive to showcase him.  Instead he acted like a petulant child and screwed himself and the Sixers.

Now is the perfect time to sweeten the pot just a bit and actually get the deal done.

Bryan C knows this hasn't gone well.   Do you really think he's gonna like yet another low ball??

No way.   He'll be angered and we'll end up watching Noel go cheap elsewhere (Alan Crabbe are you fricken kidding me??)

But, if you switch up the package, show him a look he hasn't seen yet that is a little bit better than our last one --- he'll fall off his chair to accept the offer.

His coach is about to mutiny.   The rotation is a mess.   And they already have their franchise center. Not to mention...Noel, when healthy, will cause Okafor's value to go down even more (it can).

And...we need him.

It's not like we'd be giving up a ton here.  Rozier and a first?  Why not??   We aren't they good right now, and our guys defense will continue to suffer from deteriorating confidence if Danny doesn't get us a shot the keister, like now.  You can't be successful with a hustle culture team, if guys stop believing in one another.

While RFA's can sign offer sheets during the moratorium (we knew this was coming), the clock to match doesn't start until the end of the moratorium (we didn't know about this), so now we can trade for Nerlens, go after a Blake or Hayward in FA and not worry about sacrificing Nerlens (or Kelly for that matter) if we don't end up landing a big fish.

It's big news. I'm much more interested in Nerlens now.

Bro you'd be wayyyyy better low balling. The Sixers take that offer in a heart beat. It is unreal how much they've cratered this kids value.

Sam definitely made a mess by drafting Okafor, but Colangelo not moving one of them in the off-season was criminal.

Interesting. Isn't that how the Parsons situation happened several years back with Houston and Dallas?

We'd still have to worry about his cap hold and actually creating enough space for a max free agent, though.

However, if Brad and Danny think they have a decent shot at getting Hayward, who seems to be the best free agent we could get since nobody really believes Griffin will leave LA, then trading for Noel now might be the best bet, wouldn't it? You'd probably have to lose KO and Amir in free agency and trade Crowder for space, but that'd allow you to be able to sign Hayward using cap space then sign the RFA Noel.

That'd leave you with the following roster:

PG: IT, Jackson
SG: Bradley, Smart
SF: Hayward, Brown
PF: Horford, JJ (resigned)
C: Noel, Mickey

And you'd still have some room to fill out the bench with some quality veterans, along with keeping the Brooklyn picks. This would be a good way to both compete now while not sacrificing our future by keeping a young core of Smart, Brown, Noel, and the Brooklyn picks.

The question is - can we consider that team a true title contender? It's pretty close. No single number one alpha, but you have three legitimate number two options in IT, Hayward, and Horford and two high-end role players in Bradley and Noel. Also, that's an elite defensive team that will give any offense fits, along with giving us another significant scorer in the starting lineup.
