Brown has this weird habit where he is quite effective at getting to the rim through contact but he kinda cradles the ball, super securely to avoid getting blocked, then has to throw up a miraculously spinny, "last-minute" off glass layup. Can that be taught out of his game?

Also, can we have some new team rules on pump faking threes?

I'm about done with Crowder and his stupid lazy passes. Let's just go Brown from here on out. At his ceiling is huge.

Brown is our longest wing he should definitely be playing more in this game!

Marcus Smart takes 2 shots for the half, basically invisible

Its almost like these guys get in the way of themselves.

2 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists. Definitely invisible... He's doing things to help this team win, and he's picking his spots offensively, which is exactly what he needs to do.

im talking about his offensive production in scoring. Im not even hating on him, this team just gets in the way of eachother, everything changes, when IT is in everybody else as obviously as it is drops off, when he is gone the other guys become more of themselves. I might think Smart sucks on offense but now he won't get many shots, and def not get good ones. Somebody has to go.

That's just how IT plays, and we kind of just have to accept it right now. I hate it, too, but he's our best option offensively. I think we could make him a bit better by playing him more off the ball and having someone like Smart initiate the offense more. But Brad just doesn't want to do that apparently.

Gorman just said only three assists for the starting unit so far, i.e. the IT effect.

How is that the IT effect? He's been playing really well within the offense. The team is just shooting terribly from the field.

This team really have no identity this season. Complete 180 from last season.

I still maintain my comparison of Marvin Williams for Josh Jackson

Ball clearly isn't moving like it was without IT. IT's presence always has a tendency to curb the ball movement, because his usage is so high that everything goes through him, mostly through penetration and kicking. I mean, we simply have to have him right now for our offense, but he without a doubt have better ball movement without him.

I think we are still defining that but this is our idenity in ways.  Coast like the celtics of old then turn it up in the final 5 minutes.

The 80's celtics were so good they would coast through the game but would turn it up and Larry would take over.  We don't have Larry Bird but we do have IT and other guys and if we ever get a center to go with Al.

We are just a mellow team. It will be fine.  I promise.  I enjoy watching this team we just aren't turning it into wins yet.

This team is just baffling to me. Clearly, when we play defense and get stops, we're very heard to beat.

But we just don't play defense but for a couple of minutes at a time. We pretty much try to outscore them otherwise. But when we do play defense and get stops like last year, we go on runs and are hard to beat.

Literally, I think everything just comes down to our lackluster defense compared to last year.
