That's not even the case here, though. Kawhi is obviously far, far superior to anyone on the Celtics. He's an elite, MVP-caliber guy, and that disparity should not be undersold. However, the Spurs only other elite talent was in street clothes. Who was the Spurs second most talented guy playing tonight, Danny Green? We're not getting out-talented; we're getting outplayed.

Last game against them, the Cs got burned by David Bertans. Tonight, the fossilized body of Pau Gasol nearly outrebounded the whole Boston team.

Nothing yet. We are still a work in progress. We are about where I thought we'd be this year. We need work, luck and another top player. We are still a team in transition.

Move/share the ball; control the ball and not turn it over. That's about it.

At least last year we were in pretty much every game due to our defense. But we just don't have it this year. We don't turn anyone over, get in the fastbreak, or even get the rebound once we do get stops.

We're midway through my least favorite part of the schedule.  The schedule makers did not give the C's any kind of holiday present.  Here's the cities the team has been, and will continue to travel to.

Philly
Houston
Orlando
Boston
Oklahoma City
San Antonio
Boston
Miami
Memphis

That's a ton of travel.  Over 800 miles between every stop except OKC and San Antonio, which was still over 400 miles.  When I saw this stretch on the schedule I was hoping for 5-4 at best.  We're 2-4 so far, so not likely to get there, but maybe IT's return will help.  To go from Houston to Orlando, only to come back to OKC and Texas days later, via Boston, was absurd.  To return to Miami, again via Boston, and then go back to Memphis, which is as near OKC as any place else?  I think we have a nice schedule in the New Year, but this was as bad as a West Coast trip, if not worse.

Well sometimes you have to acknowledge that screaming at your players won't fix poor rebounders. Olynyk, Zeller, Johnson, and even Horford aren't exactly good rebounders and we are a poor rebounding team because of it. Brad yelling at his players won't change that

Parker scored once on Smart with 4:31 left in the game. He had two other assists at the end of the game, which I'm assuming you're trying to blame on Smart somehow? Smart also stole the ball twice from Parker, forcing two turnovers.

Parker scored three times on Rozier in the 4th - at 8:48, 8:22, and 7:07. He also assisted once at 7:54, which if you're going to blame his assists on Smart above must also go on Rozier down here.

So, yeah, somehow it was "Smart" who Parker went off on at the end of the game... I'm just a typical Smart homer.

One of those Parker assists was on Smart because he couldn't get around the pick and roll. And couldn't rotate quick enough to contain Parker well enough and let Amir rotate over back to his man. Also forgetting the countless blow byes that didn't create a assist, but further broke down the defense and created an open shot for somebody else.
Again you are neglecting the entire game. It's nice having a short term memory.
