After tonight I'm go
Smart-25
Rozier-22
Brown-18
those minutes seem about right.
76ers are pretty trashy right now. Only Embid is worth giving shots to. So that is why I have them high up, as well as playing style. 76ers can play fast and loose pushing the ball. But when a team is set in their D just feed Embid.

Smart is playing 32 mpg here, he wouldn't be playing much more than that (if at all) in Philly, and while he might get an extra shot here or there, his percentage isn't going to magically increase playing on a worse team, so I'd say he will still be in the 10-12 range he is at right now.

Similarly, I don't foresee Rozier or Brown getting many more minutes than already do as I believe Rodriguez and Covington would still start and play around the minutes they do.  I also think Bayless would be ahead of Rozier on the depth chart so when he is back Rozier would get even less minutes.  So let's say Brown 6-8 like now and Rozier 5-7 also like now.

It seems like they may be starting to sour on Covington. He has been absolutely brutal this season and only getting worse. It would be bizarre to play him over Brown on a rebuilding team looking to get a top draft pick. Covington is also about to turn 26 and is not part of a long term rebuild. Surely this is said in jest.
They have a rookie SF though who barely plays.  Brown obviously has more upside than Luwawu-Cabarrot, but it isn't always about lets just play all the young guys.  And yes Covington has been bad, but he is still playing the 2nd most mpg on the team and is in the same general range for minutes he has been the last two seasons.  Bayless was back last night as well.

Our bench players would still be bench players in Philly (aside from Smart, as he would likely start).  Embiid is however the only player on Philly that would start on a combined team (Okafor might as well without Embiid around).  That is the difference between the teams, i.e. the starters, not the bench.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Covington's shooting has been very poor so far but he's been very good defensively which is why he's still starting and playing big minutes.  As far as a combined team, Simmons would most likely start too.

Simmons is out so I didn't include him, but he wouldn't start over Hoford or Embiid and I'm not sure he would start over Crowder.  He might, just might not.

As long as he played passable D against SFs, I think Simmons would start over Crowder.  IT, Bradley, Horford and Embiid would be a near perfect fit around him.

Rozier and Smart are upgrades over the Sixers backcourt. I don't think there is much to debate there.

Of course it is debatable.  Henderson is probably the best player of the group and Rodriguez and Bayless are experienced veterans.  I suspect Smart would start with Henderson, but Rozier would barely be a rotation player with a healthy Henderson, Rodriguez, Bayless, and Stauskas.

This thread is absurd. I guess Celtics fans are just as much obsessed with the sixers as Lbrrd.
