This appears to really be just a phony internet rumor rather than a real NBA rumor, but I'm just throwing it out there as a point of discussion about what fair value for Harden might be.

I understand that this deal has to be tweaked to match salaries and can't take place for a while because of Harden's recently signed contract.
No thanks, I'd actually ponder doing that deal for Westbrook but not Harden.
But honestly though... can we find a way to keep at least one of Bradley/Brown/Smart and replace them with either a future pick or some young players. That's essentially packaging away our defense, with Crowder our only main lock-down defender left (unless you think Horford is a "defensive stud" as well).
You could add a Westbrook OR Harden, but packaging away the defense would still make a difference and somewhat negate the scoring either player would bring.
