  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
My goodness he looks really good out there, could be a very versatile NBA player.
Anyone else been following him lately for the Red Claws? Highlights from game the other day.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

jerebko with ups.  He really should take jerebkos spot next year.  Yab and Zizic also should take zeller and amirs.  They may be stashed longer depending on what we do though.

Nader is looking like more of a player than jerebko though and even more of a scorer.  He could be a really good compliment to brown in a few years.

Jarebko caufht fire last year from 3 point range. I expect that to occur agin sometime this year. Don't be so fast to write him off. But Yabs has a better future with this team. Can finish inside better.

Those are some nice highlights.  Nader looks better and more aggressive than he did at Iowa State.  I hope he gets a long look next year.

nader and a teamate had an early season DUI at iowa, nader decided to turn his life around  Iowa made the final 16 and nader shot 37% from 3 for the season,
he then had a superb portsmouth tournament and got on the radar-he worked getting in peak shape for tryouts -he was obviously went to celtics and had a summer league with all the same highlites as  he had last night-nader has a 7-1 wingspan and 40 inch vertical/
nobody is going to bother his 3 ball when he moves up
i think he could shoot 40%--this may be the shooter we have been looking for in rj and young
nader lost 25 lbs his last collegiate year to sharpen his game  and has got a great frame
he sees the court ,love his release and plays unfold for him--i like his first step
last night he had 3 steals that long reach

I almost want a trade to free up a slot for him.   Can we trade Young and Green for someone?

On one hand, it is only Maine though, he won't be as good against NBA players I wager.  In a lot of those moves, would get blocked by NBA regulars.   One the other hand, he might deserve a shot.

he looks pretty good as a difficult shot maker, but i still have concerns about him creating separation on a consistent basis... especially on the nba level

This is true.  I'm not really writing off these guys though.  jerebko, amir and zeller.  I tend to think amir is just still on vacation or something.  Zeller isn't even trying right now. jerebko still makes a couple plays every game and can heat up.  I question tehse guys long term though.  They are decent role guys. Nader could ultimately replace jerebko is all.  We are a bit a ways from that though.

Who knows what will happen.  Zizic and Yab are stashed.  We could replace Horford for all I know and trade him.

I'm not a huge fan of trade talk in general. The internet gets me in this mode because that's all the news reports.  I dont like it as much as anyone.  It's fun to think of how things might shape up though and gives some clarity to what we are trying to do.

The news is full of crap though for the most part.  I'm human and actually listen to it these days.  I gave up on just scoffing at it which i used to do a lot.  I'm nice and listen and it's a double edged sword.

My whole thing is I'd rather root for the guys we have to succeed. That's the biggest thing because we don't lose that way. That's good for the celtics.  All this other stuff is just speculation.

The players we have do well how do we lose there?  We don't.

I used to hate when peope were panning bradley before he even got a chance.  What good does that do?

I expect jerebko to heat up this year though. Darth Nader is coming.

I'm wondering if the Celtics might consider replacing Green with Nader near mid-season if Green is not contributing. Anyone think that is possible or even likely?

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
