people still overreacting to the first 10 games of the season.  The Charlotte Hornets have the best record in the league.  Everyone relax.

even with horford and crowder back soon, will that make a difference in the effort of these guys? the heart of these guys?
They are arguably our two best two-way players.  We have scrubs filling in for them right now (Zeller and Jaylen).  Yeah, it will make a massive difference.

yeah i hope so too. but seeing as how this is now our "overreaction" thread, i am inclined to overreact.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Plenty to be annoyed with and not much to be happy with, but it's very very early and we don't have our core together yet. We will be a very different team by spring.

Pretty sure you can't do that like sports. Might want to take that down ASAP.

Can't wait to see it.   % chance we make it out of the first round?  All things considered, I'll erroneously guess 68%.

Thought this was a Trump thread!

You can't underestimate how bad poor Zeller is at defense. Jaylen still needs A LOT of work down that end. And we are consistently asking JJ and GG to guard MUCH taller and stronger players.

But yeah, people need to calm down a little.

We are missing two key players.  That is making a difference but we should be playing better.  We are underachieving so far.  It is early but this is still concerning.  We should not be that kind of team and I don't think we will be in the end but some weaknesses are being exposed right now.

They will pick it up but they still suck.  Its a pointless roster and has been for awhile.   They shouldn't have wasted the money on horford.

And who do you think we shouldve spent the money on? Given that Horford is missing time when we are struggling, signing Horford is nowhere near the cause.
Signing Horford isn't the cause.  However the Horford signing tied up a lot of cap space on an older player who by himself doesn't make us a contender.  We'll be paying him 30M at age 34.  I don't see his addition attracting a star to play for us.  We've got to make it to the ECF and give the Cavs a challenge.  Hopefully the Cousins trade materializes because I don't see our current team as being able to do so.

Charlotte should be pretty good this year, but yeah early season records aren't a good gauge because teams play vastly different schedules early in the year.

Yep.  I still would have rather kept Sullinger than Zeller.  And probably would have rather taken a flyer on someone like Ezeli or Speights rather than keep Johnson around.  The team in the paint is old, slow, and can't rebound, if they can't defend (a supposed strength), then Boston will be lucky to make the playoffs, yet alone make the ECF.

Last year the team was deep. when some one went down we had solid veteran backups.
This year we are still deep, but our back-ups are: 1. too Young (Brown/Rozier) 2. back from Injury (Smart/KO) 3. still looking for their game (Jerebko/ Green)
