The Celtics lack of depth up front is really showing right now. Ainge should have paid more attention to rebounding and toughness in the pre-season. The team is missing one or two boards bangers.

Horford and Crowder did not make the trip to DC, so they're both for sure out for tomorrow's game against Washington. Crowder was expected, but it wasn't clear whether or not Horford would play.

KO did make the trip, though it's still a gametime decision on whether he plays or not.

I'm starting to get concerned about Al. This is seemingly taking a much longer time than normal with concussions. Tomorrow will be 9 days since it originally happened.

Whoever hit him must have really hit him!

I hope they aren't hiding anything else from us.

Brace yourself - I heard it was Zeller  :o Just one more reason to hate him!

Has that actually been reported anywhere else? Because I think I might have started that on this forum lol. I think I might have said something like that in another thread, just speculating/hating Zeller. I don't think it's actually been reported anywhere that it really was him haha!
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I know I tried to start that rumor early on myself.

Yeah, I'm annoyed at Zeller.  I'm betting he's the one who gave Horford the concussion.

Oh wow, that's way before I said anything about it hah

we dont know who hit him (although my money is on Zeller, he makes everything worse)
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

What kind of a concussion is this??

Mike Gorman told @Toucherandrich he's been told Al Horford's concussion is "not responding" to #NBA protocols. Bad news for #Celtics.

Hopefully with KO back we can see even less of Zeller, he might even be out of the rotation in as quick as a week!

  • That's turrible
I am seriously concerned about Al. I'm wondering if this concussion may have been almost NFL-esque. He's not even talking to the media.

Yeah, this also has me a little scared. I don't know the procedure for interviews and stuff, but I would have imagined that he would have talked to the media at least once in the past week. I am growing increasingly worried that there's something else going on here that they're not telling us about.

I miss guys like Vitaly Potapenko and Danny Fortson. We need at least ONE genuine banger.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.

Who would be one you would like. I wanted to keep Humphries.

Injured players rarely give interviews, especially if they're not practicing.  That's just standard practice.

Oh yeah. TP bud. Ditto on Hump.

Oh gosh. They're a fading breed in h NBA. Perkins might've been the last one. Bummer about that injury. Oh well.

Teams just haven't been drafting these guys. They used to be a staple of the second and late first round. Like when DA drafted Brandon Hunter. They all want skills players at every position now.

No rebounds, no rings.

I find this strange also.  What does it mean if concussion symptoms linger like this?
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
