Isaiah is the heart and soul of the Celts.  It would be disappointing to see him go.

It would be sad to see Bradley or Crowder get traded as well, though I think I would rationalize it easily enough. Those guys are good players, but an upgrade on the wing makes the most sense to get the Celts to the next level.
More and more I think Bradley would be tough to upgrade.  How many better 2-way shooting guards are there in the league?  A handful, maybe?

I mean, right now Bradley is playing like a top 5 SG.  If he continues to rebound really well and his newfound playmaking doesn't go away, he could stay there all year.

If he regresses to the mean a bit, I think he is replaceable.  For the balance of his career he's been an average offensive player who is an excellent guard defender.  A quality piece but not nearly an All-Star, two-way force.

Right now, though, you're right, it's hard to imagine upgrading Bradley.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

IT, Bradley, and Crowder all probably belong in the same category, but I have to go with Crowder because of his ridiculous contract and because I think he is probably the leader of the team. There are more talented players than Crowder, but nobody who will work as hard on his game or hold others accountable when they make mistakes.

For me it was close between Smart and Brown. Brown because I'd like to see what he grows into, I think the kid is gonna be a starter shortly. He'll make his mistakes this year, and become a strong asset.

But I chose Marcus Smart, not because he's going to be a "star" or even an all-star. Just because of what he brings to the attitude of the team when he enters the game. Marcus is a warrior, he plays very hard, when he defends he assaults opposing players with his aggressive D. Like the night he swarmed all over Cousins, to the point Cousins threw him to the ground out of frustration.

He has enough size, length, and toughness to cover 1 thru 3, and some 4's. As he becomes a veteran, he'll score enough to someday be on a club that seriously contends for a championship.

As we can see, we're missing him in this short stint where he's out. I'd hate to loose his gritty attitude.

IT and Bradley. Everyone else can go.

Bae I guess is Crowder. Wonder how Danny views this. If they feel they can't sign IT, they might well trade him. The others are core defense plus Rozier and Brown. The latter two are the most tradeable in the right deal without affecting the current team. I like keeping the core defensive trio. Bradley just had a big scoring night, and could be coming into his own offensively.

Jaylen Brown for me. And if it's a veteran player, then Bradley for me. Crowder is nice, but Jaylen can hopefully take those minutes.

There isn't a single player on the roster that can't be upgraded.  So the answer is, it depends on who we get back.

Really depends on the big name in the trade for me.   Some guys I would give anyone up on the roster for like say Anthony Davis.   Other guys it might bother me if we gave up some of our guys.

Smart. He's my favorite player. Then it would probably be Brown and Crowder because they're our best assets.

AB, though I know most big trade targets see the Celtics as more attractive with AB than without.

It's a tough call between Thomas and Bradley.  I'd hate to see either of those two guys go.

Thomas because when he got here, he transformed this team from a lottery team to a serious playoff threat.  Before he came here we had no go-to scorer, nobody who could carry us when we really needed a bucket.  Thomas' offense impacts this team in so many ways - the defensive attention (especially on drives to the basket) creates so much space for everybody else on the court

Bradley because he's the longest tenured Celtic, the only player on the roster who won a title as a Celtic, and because I feel he embodies everything it means to be a Celtic:

* His work ethic and commitment to constantly improve his game
* His motor & completely unwillingness to ever give up on a play or a loose ball
* His modesty & tendency to do whatever the team needs him to, it's always team first
* His mental toughness & complete refusal to back down from anyone, regardless of size/status
* His pure desire to win, whatever it takes

He's just a Celtic, through and through.

In fact I think it would be sadder to see AB go then even Thomas for those reasons.

Torn between IT and Brown. Smart , Jae and AB are all in favorites too yet they are more expected to be moved.

Chicago reportedly was asking for crowder, Bradley and the pick (brown) in a trade for butler.   I wouldn't have liked that at all.

That seems really lopsided to me. Thank god Danny didn't pull the trigger :o ::)
