I saw you post this last night and I wanted to respond, "why?"

Then today at lunch my buddy was telling me about a recent Simpsons episode that was basically a love letter to Boston.  Lots of Boston-specific gags.  He didn't want to spoil it, but he hinted that at least one Celtic might make a cameo.  I assume that's the episode you linked to.

I hadn't watched the Simpsons in years, but I think it followed the football game so my tv happened to be on that channel when the episode started.

I loved the episode. Not sure it's going to get me to watch regularly again, but definitely a good episode.

I've never seen a single Simpsons episode (or any of the cartoon shows -- other than the Flintstones and Jetsons).  Maybe this episode will be my first. I doubt it.
