DeMarcus Cousins per 36 numbers as a 20 year old rookie.
17.8 pts
10.9 rebs
3.2 assists
1.3 steals
1.1 blks
4.2 turnovers
Embiid's Per-36 through the first 3 games of his professional career after 2 years off: 29.7 points, 11 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 4.6 blocks, 0.6 steals with 46% shooting, 40% from three and 76% from the line.
Pretty awesome. One of the best storylines of the league this year. Hopefully he doesn't hurt something else.
Embiid is averaging zero turnovers per 36 minutes?
That is amazing.
This is not true. I think LB just made an oversight in haste. He actually leads all frontcourt players in averaging 3.7 turnovers. If we want to be silly this would 6.3 per 3.6, but nobody is reasonably going to put out per 36 numbers for a guy that will never play 36 minutes per game in his career right?
Yeah, I know the numbers, just pointing out how ole LarBrd felt compelled to use his per36 numbers, while leaving out that particular stat in order to try and further his point.
Sigh...
I'm on your side, wayupnorth. I, too, am jealous of Philly fans. I'd love to be watching Embiid in Boston.
Take solace in the fact that Boston has a really good team this year and Philly is likely a few years out from having much success in the win/loss column. Maybe that will take the edge off for you. We still have a couple Brooklyn picks. Still a chance we'll get a superstar some day too.
But, you aren't trolling at all.
"let me post these great per 36 numbers to say how great a guy is, but intentionally leave out the 7 turnovers he would average, and when someone calls me on that, I will simply turn around and say this guy must just be jealous of Philly."
Personally, I don't understand how the mods allow this, but as long as they do, here I am.
And now I will fly on outta here in my Roflcopter.
