I don't see the Wow.  Really poor defense by the other team gave him a bunch of easy layups.

I also think he's pretty quick in all of the clips that I've seen.

And if you look at his frame...he's got another 15-20lbs that he can pack on without sacrificing much of that quickness.

He sure deserves credit ..... i was higher on him than drafting Bender in the lottery and i still think he can play for the Cs.
But the comment here...... Like you are waiting for the second coming of Arvydas Sabonis.It's not impressive if you play against sunday league talent (like in that video)

Don't get your hope so high. Mickey looked like a defensive God in NBDL and I can assure you NBDL is not worse than adriatic league.

It looks like it is too easy for him to finish in that league. He is so far above his opponents in that area.

His rebounding and hands both look great.

I'd like to see him stay disciplined on defense and develop his passing and shooting. In all of these highlights, I've not see one 15 footer, but that might be because he doesn't have to.

Yeah, kind of hard to justify a 50% shot when he can readily dump it in at a 70% rate at the rim. He really should be over here, where he would have to be stretching his game, right now.

I believe we have to cool down a bit. While I am aware that his ability to block shots and finish around the basket makes his future translation easier, things happen much faster in NBA. I am especially worried about his lack of quickness, in a league where ability to move like a 90s small forward has become a norm for quality big men, that might be problematic. Also ABA league has many more garbage players than it has prospects like Zizic. Stats there don't always project a player's future NBA success. He could be even better in NBA than we hope, or become a "5th guy in the big man rotation".

Yeah most of his makes are just transition dunks or wide open lanes after a pick and roll. Poor defense from the other team. I would like to see some resemblance of a back to the basket post game. You know, pound the ball a few time, maybe get a hook or get the defender in the air with a fake, go under him. Stuff like that.

Kid used to remind me of Perk, now I see some Kevin McHale moves developing.

Sure wish we could cut/trade Young and make room for him on our roster.  Even to develop him for next year.  Playing overseas in a weak league doesn't seem optimal.
