Beginning of the year I said derozen but after about the halfway point he's proven he can hit 3s pretty well and is actually a pretty good defender for a rookie

I think his ceiling is Corey Maggette 2.0.  I think he has more potential as an outside shooter, and I think he already gives more consistent defensive effort than Maggette ever did.  But Jaylen's build, athleticism and aggression remind me a lot of Maggette.

I agree with the Jimmy Butler comparison. Jimmy is a good, not great shooter, a very good defender (2nd team defense at his best). I think he's more athletic then Jimmy Butler, so maybe he has a slightly higher ceiling but a good outcome to hope for.
