Poll: Olynyk, Rozier, Young for Okafor

 Are you ready to pay Kelly 15 million per year or more next year? 

 If Philly wants guards we got them, we can throw in Hunter or Jackson.

 Who knows how many minutes or touches he gets, but he is a go to scorer when you need a bucket, and we could use that.

I would do almost anything to get Okafor before he starts playing better and the asking price increases or they trade another big/s.

I would include Marcus Smart in a deal if we can get it done without giving up a BKN pick

They have no use for Olynyk with their already jumbled up big-man rotation.

It'd probably have to be something like Rozier, Young, and the lottery-protected Clippers pick for Okafor, which is still really good value for a former number three pick.

What is this obsession with Okafor??? I don't think it makes sense to subtract the team's best big 3 pt shooter and your backup PG for a big man who probably doesn't fit your style of play.

I'm not big on okafor but I'm not big on the 3 we're giving up so if this is all it would take to get him, I'd do that deal without thinking twice because he's the best player in the deal.

It could turn out that Okafor may be the only reachable target. Ainge doesn't want to deal the Nets picks for him, which is understandable.

Given that James Young is end of the bench fodder and Rozier did nothing for us last year, we'd be giving up Olynyk from last year's core for Okafor. Yeah, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Why?  When the entire NBA is going small, why not do the opposite.  If we can get Okafor cheap, I say do it.  He is not a finished product and him and Horford would be a matchup nightmare for most teams.  Horford couldn't shoot when he first came into the league, now he's a max player because he can stretch the floor and do a little of everything.

Agreed.  I don't understand the fascination with KO, if you can get a proven low-post scorer like Okafor.  This would allow Horford to move to his more natural PF spot and replace some of KO's 3-pt shooting.  I like Kelly but he just isn't versatile enough for my liking.

Giving up Rozier would be the harder decision, IMO.
