Let's say Crowder is an 80 overall rating this year in NBA. Brown by mid season playing major minutes will be a 75, I could see him being better than Crowder by seasons end.

And again it would only speed up his development.

What are these ratings?

If Doc trades Blake he is blowing up the team.

CP3 would have a conniption fit .....would be wanting out to join Spurs or Lakers ASAP .

Doc will loose his stars and basically his job in the short term.

Doc can on tear down .....he is not good at creating anything .....he has no patience or want to build.

I don't see Doc hanging himself

Those ratings look awfully like 2k ratings lol. PS I think crowder is an 83.

Why do the Clippers want to trade Blake?
Obviously they don't like him.

Okay, here's the deal: My kids get to choose where we go for dinner tonight. If they pick Friendly's, we drive right by that Lexus dealership. I'll stop in and see what's up with this guy.

Hasn't it occurred to anyone that DA's interest in Griffen may purely be to acquire THE trade piece needed to acquire DeMarkus Cousins?  The Kings franchise in Sacramento has had financial problems off and on over the years.  If they trade Cousins, how are they going to put "butts in the seats" going through an even more protracted rebuild?  The answer is by getting a "star attraction" to replace Cousins and who better than ESPN high-light reel favorite Griffen.

You may be thinking then that maybe the Kings should trade straight up with the Clips.  However, the Clips don't have other trade pieces that the Kings would want.  Adding DeAndre Jordan doesn't do anything for them since they have already been stocking up on multiple players at the C position ostensibly to prepare for the day when the Kings actually do trade Cousins.  An aging Chris Paul may not add anything to the equation either from the Kings standpoint let alone the Clips who would have to start all over and as we all know Doc doesn't "do" rebuilds.

More importantly, the Clips don't have what the C's can bring to the table (i..e multiple 1st round picks in future drafts including, but not limited to, the 2017 and 2018 picks courtesy of the Nets which appear to be a mortal lock to be lottery picks + other valuable trade pieces like Crowder, Bradley, Smart, Brown, etc.) to make a Cousins trade happen.

I seriously doubt that he is interested in Griffen to actually add to the C's roster.  In my view, he's just trying to make a 3 way trade happen by getting what the Kings want/need (Griffen) to get Cousins.

There are, but the kids chose Stoked (pizza).

Some of the Friendly's have been renovated and look somewhat nice. Not the one in Watertown, though.

I love the way this summer has panned out so far. Brown continues to improve every summer league game, could potentially develop into a beast if he gets his stroke down( his ft% is unacceptable though). Landed an All-Star free agent at our greatest positional need, that fits the scheme perfectly.   Essentially moved Rondo (couldn't stand his attitude though talented), KG, and Pierce and now has put the organization in a potential position to turn that into a player of the likes of: Blake/Westbrook/Cousins.  Additionally the 2017 draft is looking incredibly strong and deep, with a great chance of being a top 3 again. Now tells  teams to go pound sand when the want to include that in a package=power position

Kudos to DA.

I do this trade all day. Though as stated Bradley would be more ideal.

Agree with all that.  But I would do this deal as proposed (and I LOVE Jae Crowder).  I think they need to keep SOME outside shooting and that's what Bradley represents.

Haha, yeah, the reason why I asked is because obviously they went bankrupt or something a number of years ago, and the one that was there for 50 years or so in the next town over from ours closed, although there are maybe 2/3 left, iirc, in my neck of the woods ;) ;D. I don't get how certain ones continue to operate, though, if almost all of them have closed their doors, but I'm no business expert, to put it mildly, lol.  I hope you guys had fun :).

I reside in the Sacramento area.  Do you really believe Blake would not exercise his early termination option after next season here in Cowtown of California, playing for the most inept and dysfunctional franchise in the NBA?

Yes I would do that. But it's not going to get it done. One of the Brklyn picks will be included for Griffin.
Celtics fan for life.
