Don't forget the Clippers are run by Doc, and he loves (i.e overpays) his old players.  Because of this, I think he'd value Bradley over Crowder or Smart.

Acquiring Griffin is more of win now trade, so keeping Crowder and trading Brown makes more sense in that regard especially if it means keeping Rozier.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

That deal would make us better at PF but worse as a team.

Ummm, No.

I don't know what that guy is smoking, but are you really gonna tell me that adding a 27 year old PF who averaged 21/8/5 while sharing the court with paul and Jordan (both probably take a few reb/ast a game from him) without giving up a BRK pick would make this team worse? I get that we would have to give up amir and crowder, but Amir's defense is replaced by horford, and while I love crowder, he is not better than blake by any means. Rozier doesn't factor in because he wasn't in the rotation last year.
I get all that, but I am guessing that GreenCoffeeBean was saying that without Bradley, the team has no outside shooting.  That could, however, be fixed by signing a FA pure shooter.

The *proposed* trade is crowder not Bradley. Lets be honest crowder doesn't really light it up from beyond the arc anyway.

What do we do about the huge hole at SF if this happens?  What happens when we play the Cavs, the Warriors, the Pacers, the Raptors or the Spurs.....?  SF is the position that every team we'd have to get by is strongest at and we'd great a huge hole there that we wouldn't be able to fill.  I don't think we'd be considerably more competitive in the playoffs without an elite defensive SF.  I know that Blake is a much better player than Crowder, but we're not winning a championship with him if we don't have an SF.  We're just not.

The deal according to Deadmik3 on tweets at 1 pm is Griffin for Bradley, Johnson and Nets '18 pick. "Announcement soon." FWIW.  I think the polls mentioning two firsts are too steep. This one is about right.

I still don't know who Deadmik3 is. Is he someone who would actually have access to this kind of knowledge?

It's certainly possible. He claims to be a season ticket holder with a friend within the organization, which sounds reasonable enough. Do I buy what he's selling? Not really, but he seems oddly confident, and trolls are not usually as specific as he's been.

He's some dude who works at Lexus of Watertown and claims to have a childhood friend in the organization.

I'm not even kidding.

Not any more or less confident than the dude who claimed Westbrook to the Celtics is a done deal.

Hang on, let me get this right: I scrolled through his posts. He's 22. That means that this is somebody he met when he was 7? I mean, I guess that's possible, but y'all better be getting to know my son now. He likes Pokemon and anything related to sports.

So this guy works in the Business Development center at Lex of Watertown. Okay, that's cool. Wonder how many people he talked into the showroom by saying, "C'mon in and I'll give you all the details."

Didn't have the time or inclination to try to figure out his age exactly, but my guess was 23-24 based on appearance. Seems I wasn't too far off.

PSA: Don't browse his Twitter pictures at work. There's a naked midget (again, not even kidding).

And yes, that's exactly the guy.

Yo Q, Remember that guy Jaylen Brown we drafted, he gets put on the super fast track of development which is good for us.

He will be way better than Crowder in two years.

Hold up, hold up...

"Mike"? The Mike?

If not: Can one of our signature Mikes access the Watertown Lexus Mike's POV through some Mike mindmeld/Borg thing? Is closing every statement with "Mike" something all Mikes have always done, from Jordan to Schmidt, from Pence to Dukakis, as a worshipful salute to the Almighty Union of Mikeness, and I'm just the last to know?

Anyway...

I will pray to God/the Almighty Union of Mikeness myself if it means that the biggest trade of the offseason gets broken nationally by Mike from Lexus of Watertown whose Twitter profile is a dwarf penis. Dear God...(mutters in private)...Amen. I mean, errr...

As Kevin Garnett said anything is possible. But I can't remember any time that a friend-of-a-friend type rumor on this message board (or twitter) has been correct (i.e. deliguy, etc). I'll be pleasantly surprised if this comes to fruition and Deadmik is right, but I have friends who are season ticket holders and they don't get any kind of special info - His "friend in the organization" must be a very important, albeit dumb, person if he has this info and is sharing it with the Biz Dev guy at Lexus of Watertown.

Not for nothing, but who the hell is Deadmik3?? Looking at twitter he's just a sports fan, what the heck would he know?
