Last years deadline, sources were saying Okafor, but it was AD all along. Danny has been leaking rumors through a Lexus car salesman, a 15 year old high school  boy, "insiders" who are actually just couch potatoes clicking incessantly on the ESPN trade machine. Every star that is attainable except 1 has been mentioned through a rumor by these insiders. Through the process of elimination it's Davis.

Danny never even wanted KD, his plan was to keep fans interested, confused and anxious for the REAL JULY 4,which is actually July 15TH. Independence Day will be moved  to July 15th once we get AD who is >>>>>> KD

Danny is a genius. Bravo

I sure hope it's Davis, because James, The Entitle One, will be telling the Cavs to do anything to get Davis to counter the Warriors.

If we land Davis without giving the 2 nets picks, I'll quit my job here in Brazil, ditch my fiancee, sell all my stuff, buy a ticket to Boston and live in front of TD Garden for the rest of my life. Probably gonna ask Danny Ainge for a job to be that guy who delivers gatorade and towels in the bench.

The goalposts have now moved. It's no longer Bradley, Amir, and Nets 2018 for Griffin. It's now a 3-team, 5-player megadeal that will change the NBA landscape.

Also, Mike from Watertown's sources have mysteriously gone up to 2. I guess his childhood friend cloned or something.

Ainge was prominently featured on live TV in the crowd at SL, sitting next to Marcus Smart.

i dont think you would be the only one......well this can all happen if ainge manages to somehow become a supernatural, control people's minds, and make it all happen as to wake up to the news of "AD to Celtics" xD but why stop there, why not "Every Allstar from the beginning of the NBA  to the Boston Celtics" ..yay..

I think if none of this actually happens, this guy should be made an example of. Have hundreds of people tweet negative things about his credibility. Maybe it will stop people from pulling stuff out of you know where in the future.

There's zero chance this will make any difference.

For one, as he astutely pointed out himself, he has no reputation to lose. If his credibility as a source of Celtics and NBA rumors is completely shot, he can move on and not bat an eye. This is fundamentally different from someone who works on the Celtics beat and whose livelihood depends on his credibility.

Then, it's painfully obvious that people's attention span is 140 characters -- literally and figuratively. This whole thing will be forgotten in 2 days, whether or not any of these trades actually happens. Then we can do this again weeks or months from now and it will fold out exactly the same way.

That guy is probably a pretty good car salesman, though -- I'll give him that.
