Serious noise might be a stretch. He could be a nice role player down the road. Waive one of Young/Hunter and let him develop in the D League.

Reminds me of Rick Fox. Similar height, does everything pretty well, but nothing great. Keep him in the D league only because we don't have the minutes to play him. Next year he should be able to contribute.

Listed at 6'6 but he just feels bigger than that for some reason.

He was drafted and agreed to play in Maine next season, so he won't take up a roster spot.

Quote
Nader will spend the 2016-17 season in the D-League rather than with the Celtics, Jonathan Givony of Draft Express reports.

Had Nader, the No. 58 overall pick in last Thursday's draft, signed a contract with the Celtics, he would have had little chance of cracking the roster out of training camp, so he'll aim to develop his skills more in the D-League. The Celtics will track the 22-year-old's performance this season and determine if the former Iowa State standout is ready to contribute at the NBA level in 2017-18.

How does this work? Since we drafted him obviously that means we have his rights, but how long are his rights guaranteed? If a second round pick doesnt make the roster, does that mean their rights are forfitted?

Sigh. Did we all forget that this is the summer league, where legends are born and HOFers sighted?

Remember last summer league and Mickey? How he would be a valuable member of the Celtics? How he would provide the shoot blocking desperately needed?

And this year? He has turned into a pumpkin, or at least we see warts now.

Nader is nice so far, because t he has shown ZEROin the real nba.

Let's be patient before anointing another young player.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Nader is interesting but relax.  At best he is a bench guy.

He's a Ryan Gomes type of player and will be lucky to have Ryan Gomes' career.

Triboy has been really quiet about Mickey. Curious to know if he still expects him to be our defensive anchor/3pt shooting threat like he often said throughout the season.

Yeah that's a really good comparison.
