I just can't believe Blake is gonna be 28 mid next season. It seems like it was just the other day that he was a rookie.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Well, didn't he miss his entire actual rookie season with a broken kneecap?

Yep he did. Still, it amazes me that time flies so quickly.

for some reason I am starting to get a weird feeling about this...

In what way? As in, you believe there may be truth to it? I'd like to buy into it myself -- pretty exciting, if true.

yea. I don't usually even really pay attention to this stuff, but I just have a weird feeling. I could also be descending into general madness.

However there have been a few times this offseason where I felt like our moves where incomplete and too quiet after landing Horford. At first I thought it was because of Durant.

I like the concept, if they are fighting over the Nets picks like I see in one story, I would definitely go with DMC.

Theoretically though don't we have the cap space and assets to sign both.
Nets 2017 + BOS 2018 + Crowder = DMC
Nets 2018 + Rozier = Griffin

Griffin is on the final year of his contract with Doc already saying that he wants to keep the core together for one more year... meaning there is already discussions to break it up. So he should be relatively cheaper than DMC

5 - DMC
4 - Horford
3 - Griffin
2 - Bradley
1 - IT

Bench - Amir, Smart, Brown, Hunter, JJ, KO

I may be going crazy, too. But it would make sense for a few different reasons:
1. The Horford signing was a clear win-now move
2. This is roughly the 3rd season we have been chasing a star -- took 3 years to land KG.
3. We can only collect so many assets -- we have a ton of pieces to trade and those BKN picks seem to be becoming very valuable right now.
4. Aside from the picks, how many teams in the league would not want a player like Crowder?

If I were Ainge, though, I don't think I'd pull the trigger on Blake out of fear he'd walk next year. And again, considering how strong GS is, it may be worth pushing our timeframe back a bit, using the BKN picks, and developing from within. It sure worked for them (and OKC).

No lol Griffin won't re-sign in Sacramento.
