Nets just lost out on Sullinger, too. It's hard to see then completing any move now that would take them out of a bottom three team right now.

i guess the earlier argument that the nets had lots of cap space and would bring in at least a few good free agents, thereby catapulting them to 30ish wins, just didnt hold up.
this team's best bet is to not worry about wins and loses and pull a pseudo-tank by building up so-so free agents and trading them. a bit like the celtics rehabilitated crawford jordan and turner (though no trade on turner).
turn redeemed players into some sort of draft picks.
trade lopez for anything credible, then begin the slow digging out process.
