Bentil looks like he might have a place as a small-ball 5 on offense.  Not sure if he can defend.

I don't see it with Yabu.  Reminds me of Anthony Bennett.  He needs to be a lot quicker at everything to have a place in the league.

Am I in the minority that I just don't like Marcus Thornton's game?

Idk if it's a minority, lol, but I don't like him either.  Dude's a ball hog, and the same goes for Rozier, imo.  It's like they don't know that there are 4 other players out there, lol.  I'd hate to play with guys like that.  Rozier just ran a pick and roll with Bentil, which the Jazz switched, leaving Marcus Paige on Bentil, who promptly got great low post position, only for Rozier to just jack up a brick from the foul line ::). Does he not know that Bentil can score inside?  PASS THE DENG BALL.  Ugh.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the coaching staff is giving Rozier free reign to run the show however he likes. It is important that he continues to push the limits of his game as he is likely going to receive regular minutes this year.

Besides, he has like 4 or 5 assists this half and a number of other passes that have led to quality shots. He is clearly the best player on Boston's side.

Meh, those numbers are pretty meaningless, to me.  I've watched the game to this point, as well, and he's just looking for his own shot out there all the time.  Maybe the big guys should stop setting picks for him until he passes them the ball, lol ;D. I hate players like that.

They should get rid of summer league and have a 10 day mini-camp in August. Each team would have it at their own facility and would have 5 full game scrimmages. They could charge fans short money for tickets.

Rozier can get where he wants on the floor.  He also skies for rebounds.  He has springs in his legs.

Good qualities to have for a backup PG.

Miller is trying hard to show he can play.  Seems kinda small.

That Walden kid sucks.  Totally lost on defense.

Nader looks okay, not sure he has an NBA body.

Nah, he's a four, imo, and his defense does need to improve, but at least he's trying out there, lol ;D. His speed, quickness, and footwork, defensively on the perimeter is outstanding, imo.  Probably because he grew up playing soccer.

Playing against other teams' players is really important for the coaching staff to gauge progress.

Where is Jackson?

Hasn't played due to Coach's Decision.

Just got home.

I wonder if he did/said something bad yesterday. Or they just want Thornton to get more time. Cuz djax was pretty good yesterday.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Except for the fact that he's a ball hog and plays largely out of control most of the time :-\. Why isn't Jackson playing?  At least he's a point guard.  Ugh.

He has tunnel vision sometimes and has not proven he can create for others. But a team with good ball movement can deal with that. The kid has a lot of talent, I would argue he's ahead of Smart was at this point.

Oh I'm definitely with you on that.

James young.  Yab is going to get better with age i feel.  Young is still a player I like as well.  Half his issue is he is a twig and he doesn't play with confidence.

I'd love to see a fire lit under  young and that starts with playing scrappy D.
