I'm VERY on the fence with Young... he's currently the weakest link overall in our roster, but he's still so YOUNG, I'd hate to dump him this soon if there's no necessity of it.

He's the poster boy of someone who should have stayed in college.
He was a first round pick. Stay in college and he'd be worse than he is currently.  I think he made the right choice.
Think long range.  I see him in Europe soon.  Green went to Russia or china

A guy like young doesn't even know what kind of player he could be at this point. The way the nba is it is so restrictive as far as roles.  Right now young is basically just a spot shooter with some dunks and spotty d.  He's basically worse than  gerald green was as a rookie.  If he ever figures out his talent he'll be good though.  He's skinny now gets pushed around lacks confidence at times.  But then will go off for 30 in the dleague at times.  He's a kid.

Talent wise though I can see it.  I just don't know if he will ever be that player plus the way the nba game is now players don't really develop other aspects of their game.

Trey Lyles should be dominating this game, don't see it, at all.

Same.  I never understood why he was a lottery pick.  Just because he played at Kentucky doesn't mean that he'll be an all star, lol ;D.

About that...

What?
Well he had a flurry and a 3, but still he should have dominated this game throughout.

Especially with Booker and Murray coming in behind him.  His role would have been greatly reduced had he stayed at UK.

Lol, even when Young goes right he still dribbles with his left hand ::) ;D. Ugh.
OK that's it, I'm done with this guy. To be a guard in the NBA you have to have the basic ball handling skills.

You saw it, too?

Edit - upon further review, Young actually used his right hand on that drive for two dribbles, I think, lol, but still, my mistake in thinking that he'd used his left on that possession.  Sorry about that :-\.

Young is at the bottom of the depth chart for wings at this point.

Rozier is looking great in Summer League like we all hoped, he looks ready to run the second unit now that Turner is gone

Haven't watched too closely with this game due to Brown not playing, but it seems like every time I look up Rozier is doing something spectacular.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Rozier, Brown and Hunter are the men amongst boys so far in summer league and look like they could crack the rotation this year.  Yab looks like he will  develop. Bentil has a good body and mindset for the nba as a roleplayer.  Same with jackson.

I wouldn't discount young.  Keep him around.  thornton will continue to be  a stash as the 4th pg as well.

I think Young is starting to play with a chip on his shoulders. He knows that if doesn't develop, he will be sent to China league sooner.
