Alright fellas. I know I've been posting a lot of speculation here but this is where I believe it stops. Once and for all.

Kevin Durant, pending on any fluke, is signing with the Boston Celtics

Let me tell you how I know this. There is this kid. His name is Nick Mattioli. He sent out a tweet a little while ago saying that Durant is coming here and will announce it tomorrow.

I know. I know. This is just some kid who hardly has any following. He's a nobody. HOWEVER, this kid just a few days ago tweeted out the correct details of the Al Horford contract offer and stated that Horford was going to accept it shortly after the Durant meeting.

Take a look at the date. It's July 1st. Horford tweeted out he was coming the next day.

He called Al Horford signing with the Celtics the day before Horford signed. Now he says Durant is coming to Boston tomorrow and that Boston has been his favorite all along. This kid claims he has a legitimate Celtics source because he had an internship with the team and still keeps in touch. I believe him. Kevin Durant is going to be a Boston Celtic everyone. You heard it here first.

Guys ... Everyone knew Horford and durant were our targets for a year.  Everyone knew what a max contract offer would look like.  Don't fall for Twitter trolls.

Look I told you a few minutes ago, I would not believe this kid for a second if he hadn't called the Al Horford signing, but he did. That is the ONLY REASON why I believe him.

and like I just told you - Horford has been our known target for MONTHS.  The contract details weren't a surprise.  It was a standard max offer.  If someone "called it" a day before it happened they called it months late.

Yeah but I mean he said the announcement would be immediately following the KD meeting hours before it dropped to be fair

The issue is when people lie through their teeth and then use class as an excuse to be a coward or act like they are better than someone.  I say everybody have fun tonight.  Everybody wang chung tonight.  Disrespecting celtics fans isn't the way to go. That isn't class.  Some people have millions of followers and are wrong most of the time.  Some don't.  Maybe he's just a kid messing around.  Maybe he knows someone. A lot of what he says on his feed makes sense to me.

The OKC beat writer Royce whatshisname, apparently copped a heap  of abuse from Celtics fans on his twitter page (insulting his wife/children) because he suggested that Boston is out of contention. Not cool also.

It would be quite funny and interesting if this kid is right and all these "so called" experts are wrong.  I'm rooting for it.  I've been there and dealt with ignorance with people who think they are class.  Plus we get Kevin Durant.  Everyone wins.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. The reason why I believe him is he got the events correct too. He said Horford would sign after Durant's meeting, which actually happened.

I understand twitters got loads of bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., but this kid in particular has given me reason to believe that this is true. If you don't want to agree, go ahead. I won't stop you. For all I know, this is wrong, but I think this is all too coincidental for it to not be true.

Just can't get over how Durant simply cannot choose the Warriors.  It'd be unprecedented.  Remember Ray Allen joining the Heat after the Celtics lost to them in a Game 7? Well, Durant would be doing the same thing - only he's his team best player.  A best player, bailing to join the team that eliminated him in a Conference Finals seventh game.  This just simply cannot happen.  It cannot.
