What's the point of meeting with OKC again? Nothing has changed for them. Maybe to tell them in person he is leaving?

OKC requested this meeting, not KD.  I haven't read any confirmations that a meeting was actually granted.  Makes sense for OKC To want this, to get them back into his mind after being wooed by 5 other teams.  A lot of people expect KD to resign with OKC, but if he really wanted stay there he wouldn't have met with other teams.  Sure he could land back there if he finds the grass isn't always greener.

Imagine being an OKC fan and watching your team draft 3 likely HOFers in a row, then seeing them all disappear without a single ring to show for it.  Tense times in Oklahoma no doubt.

Their draft history is very good.

Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Jackson, Bledsoe, Pondexter, Adams, Baby Davis. Apart from the top picks, they have been able to find talent all around the draft.
True. There's also Steven Adams. Cameron Payne. Andre Roberson. Jeremy Lamb. Pobodys Nerfect

If he goes back to OKC it would contradict the part where supposedly he was picking between us and the Warriors.

I think we went after him hardest by far and did all the right things.

Personally I don't see how he goes to Golden State.  There are not enough shots to go around.  He doesn't want to shoot next to two shooters like Curry and Thompson.  And going to a 73 win team is exactly what it sounds like.  The media loves their short sighted narratives so much that they act like the Warriors are some underdog now that Durant could join and it's acceptable because the Cavs won.  I can't imagine that players, who know how slim and luck based the difference between winning and losing can be, feel that narrative.  It's silly.  I just don't think it makes sense for Durant to go there on either of those angles.  I think players of that caliber are too competitive to accept that role on a team that already won 73 games.  I think players are willing to team up to win (and should, that's how you do it) but that is too far on a team that already established itself as one of the best teams in league history.

I think the Spurs can make sense for him.  Beyond that I don't know how to feel about them because I don't know their plans but clearly they are a great organization with two big stars.

I have long been thinking OKC for 1 more year but I do think we have to be an appealing option for him now.  I still say he goes back and we get a shot next year but I'd love to be wrong.

I hope this goes well for you guys. Clears some of the log jam in the Western Cconference and creates a super team with a historical past that would be good for ratings

^I don't get how the Spurs is appealing when they just destroyed those guys and he plays the same position as KD what am I missing?

I changed my sig officially. Koz has Atlanta having a better record than us this year. Let's see if his prediction holds true.

Agreed on the GS part but SA is a problem too as their best player is at KD's position, and neither can play that much 4.  We really are the best non-OKC fit in terms of a roster and salary setup.

I don't think Durant goes to San Antonio or Golden State. They are the enemy.

I think Boston is in the driver's seat right now.

I am going to go with Miami as a distant 2nd place.

Although, I still think OKC can get it done if Westbrook will commit long term. Right now, I think Westbrook has not decided because that seems to be why Horford would not consider OKC. That is why I have Boston at #1. But OKC can still get back in front if Westbrook commits.

There's nothing wrong with Steven Adams. He was drafted 12th and has turned into a full-time starter in his third year.

I'm told #Heat's meeting with Kevin Durant lasted about two hours

Tom Brady wasn't there to take up the other 2 hours I guess.
the shortest meeting of all teams. Might as well eliminate Miami from the list.

It's between us and golden state.  Maybe OKC if durant likes making bad decisions.

I honestly think GS is out and it's between OKC and C's. The Horford signing gives me inclination to think Durant may come here. Especially the new reports about Riley throwing a wrench into our recruitment. If he's worried, then it's legit.

Sources on @TheVertical: Golden State has completed a deal with Mike Brown to join Steve Kerr's coaching staff.

Golden State's response to Al Horford.
