If Durant does agree to come to the Celtics do you guys think it'll just be a 1-year deal?

Im not complaining but if things didnt go as well I'd be scared as hell of losing him. If he signs up hope its for the long term.

YES BARNES IS GOING TO MAVS!
lol thats not good. That means GSW think they have a legit shot at KD.

either that, or they thought resigning Barnes wasn't worth it for the return on investment in this crazy salary cap weekend.

This would all but guarantee the Clippers are out of the Durant chase.

OKC beat guy

So much for being blown away by their presentation.

If Durant signs with Celtics....

Doc....."Danny, can I get my old coaching job back now that you have restocked the cupboards
Danny..I promise I wont ask to leave when Durant retires in 10 years"

Danny...." Sorry Doc, we already have a coach and you know what....he is the best one we have had in decades...best of luck trying to get a ring in Clipperville"

Durant apparently flew to Boston Friday and then traveled back to the Hamptons with Brady on the 14-seat plane with him.

Durant visited the city

Wasn't he meeting with teams on Friday?

Sorry for creating a new thread rather than simply chiming in here: (I am just beyond stoked):

Tom Brady asks you to come to his town and offers to help get you settled and get to know everyone in Boston, our nation's cultural Mecca. Who the heck turns that down to return to Oklahoma City??? Brady is the only athlete in America bigger than LeBron, and he is asking Durant to come to Boston to displace LeBron as the best player in the NBA.

Reports state Horford is re-signing in Atlanta and then as soon as the meeting with Durant ends, Horford signs with Boston. Let's not forget how hard OKC was trying to clear space to get Horford. It's clear that Durant wants Horford to be his Robin.

All signs point towards Durant coming to Boston, perhaps as soon as he wraps up the meeting with Miami tomorrow.

No.  KD will make his decision before GSW has to decide to match or not.

The rumor is Dallas is going to make a max offer.

Nothing about whether GS will match or not.

either that, or they thought resigning Barnes wasn't worth it for the return on investment in this crazy salary cap weekend.

Barnes is restricted it's being reported that GS will match if they don't get KD

Yeah, they have two or three days to match, right? They will wait on Durants decision

You have to wonder about the timing here with the Clips signing Rivers, and Horford to Boston, and Durant meeting with the Celtics...

I don't think anyone can officially sign any offer until the 7th.

It's probably a 20 min flight? He may have flown into Boston in the am from were ever he was, and then met up with Brady and they flew in together.

They can't.   None of the reported deals are deals yet.

Just remember last year with the Mavs and their big FA agreement.
