Vertical Sources: Free agent Wesley Johnson has agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

This pretty much means that the Clippers are out of the Durant hunt if there was any doubt before.

But Durant was "blown away" by their pitch of dumping every single non-max contract on their roster to give him a non-max deal?!

Yeah.  He was.  "Really?? That's your plan? Well I'm just blown away speechless!"

Of course the media was all over it, too. I saw a "Big 4" poster on Bleacher Report.... And then came the reports of what it would take to make that lol

It's probably not in your best interest if you have to lose every single non-max player on your roster to make room for a player. I'm amazed they even got a meeting. I'm guessing Durant either thought they might pitch a trade, or he truly wasn't aware of their cap situation.

Yeah, that meeting always made no sense to me.  Best thought I had was Nike said it would be good for him to go to LA.

Too bad they have to actually talk about Boston now lol Seriously, it's like we were an afterthought of an afterthought beforehand. Hell, even Horford's signing hasn't got all that much attention, and he was what the second highest rated free agent this offseason??

Looks like it's a rerun from earlier today b/c they still have BOS & DC in running for Horford.   >:(

They're all talking way down about Boston in this episode, too. And they're making fun of Brady being at the meeting saying we have no other players to bring, though we almost brought the whole team anyways.  ::) It's amazing how bad this ESPN crew is, and I freaking liked Antonio Davis in Indiana!

I bet they feel stupid now, and they're going to feel even dumber if Durant does sign here..

Gotta think Silver would love to see KD in the East .   To even the East / West power

We know now Eric Gordon's deal is for 4 years/53 mill.

Mahinmi 4 years/64 mill

Horford 4 years/113 mill

I'll try to make a summary later tonight (Gr time).

I recall many thinking there would be a big demand for Sullinger, yet he has not cashed in yet?

He is a restricted free agent.  Teams are waiting to see if Boston gets KD and renounces him, making him unrestricted, before making a firm offer.  I'd expect a few have called up and told him they'll talk next week, however.

This is a rumour and afaik it has not happened yet; still it is the only piece of info out there

This makes no sense before we know KD's decision.
