Ryan Anderson to the Rockets. 4 years/$80 million. Wow.

Ryan Anderson to the Rockets. 4 years/$80 million. Wow.

What is their lineup now?

PG: Beverly
SG: Harden
SF: Ariza
PF: Anderson
C: Capela

I'm not 100% sure that's a playoff team.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I think D'Antoni will start Motiejunas at center. Keep Capela in a bench role.

D'Antoni likes to have a center who can play in the high post. Who can pass the ball. Who can make some jump-shots and make shots around the basket. Motiejunas could have big season as a starting center in D'Antoni's offense.

I'm still not 100% sure that's a playoff team in the West.

I find it very interesting and telling that the Rockets gave a qualifying offer to Demo and not Terrence Jones.  If we strike out in free agency Terrence Jones might be a guy to give a tiny one and one offer to. Sorta like when we got Evan Turner for almost nothing

I think the biggest thing in the Rockets favor for keeping that playoff spot is the lack of non-playoff teams in the West who have improved this offseason.

Sacramento are no better.
Phoenix haven't improved.
The Lakers still suck.
Nuggets have made no additions.
Pelicans do not look better either.

Utah is one team who have improved and they should take Dallas' playoff spot since Dallas have lost players and haven't added anyone yet.

That leaves Minnesota who should improve by virtue of their coaching change and gradual improvement of their young guys. I think it'll come down to a battle between the Wolves, Rockets and Blazers for the final two playoff spots in the West.

I have OKC, GSW, SAS, LAC, UTA, MEM as my top 6.

I have Lakers, Suns, Kings, Pelicans and Nuggets as my bottom 6. In that order.

Horford had been incredibly intrigued with Wizards and there was a time that he preferred Washington's talent over Boston's. Wild finish.

KD probably convinced him in the end... 8)

Looks reasonable given how many bench guys are getting $10 million.

Courtney Lee is a rock solid starting SG.

New York badly needed more quickness and defense out on the perimeter. C.Lee is a good upgrade over Afflalo on both counts.

I guess the Knicks gave up on Eric Gordon then.

I don't usually pay much attention to these things if it isn't Celts related, can anyone tell me if this is close to being the most players changing teams without being traded? It seems like it is a heck of a lot doing it. This isn't just old guys who drift yearly either. I can imagine next year being a flood too.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
