Harrison Barnes to the Mavs, 4 year/94 mill deal.

Pau Gasol to the Spurs, 2 year/30 mill deal.

Bogut traded to the Mavs (as far as I understand this is salary dumping).

Ramon Sessions to Hornets, 2 year/12.5 mill deal.

and ofc KD to GSW although the terms are not clear afaik.

I'll make a new summary tomorrow.

Saw on TV Duncan to retire

Westbrooke will join the Spurs is my guess.   And the rivalry will be on.

Making SAS even older and even slower.
Well after today's events, anything less than 82 wins for Golden State is going to be a disappointment.  THey could win 72 games and people would say Durant made them worse.  There's one less contender in the league with OKC likely toiling away in mediocrity.   And with the Spurs aging out, they might not be much of a threat either.

League just got a bit weaker.   THere's one less marquee franchise today.  Spurs gotta do what they can to stay relevant.

As of now it's a two team league. We're all waiting for June. Unless injuries happen.

I like the Pau Gasol signing a lot more if Duncan is retiring.

I was worried about the combined lack of speed of Pau + Timmy next to Aldridge and whatever other big men end up making their rotation.

But with Duncan going, the Spurs have a big hole to fill. And Pau is a good man to fill it.

Spurs would actually be a great fit for Westbrook. He's exactly the kind of player they need right now. They are missing that engine so to speak.

[dang] I woulda gave that to Barnes.  Danny sleepin again
Did you see how Barnes played in the Finals? Horrible. It made me question whether he could carry a team if he wasn't playing with the likes of Curry, Green and Klay. Not worth a max in my opinion.
Barnes for $24 million a season?! Thanks but no thanks.

Still hoping someone makes Sully an offer higher than the QO.  Please, I do not want to watch him next season...

Haven't seen this one around yet:
Quote
Woj: Sources: Charlotte, Roy Hibbert agreement: One-year, $5M.

That's pretty cheap if you ask me. Maybe Danny should have considered it as a replacement for Zeller?

Some news on the Mavs front:

Seth Curry:
Quote
Woj: Free agent guard Seth Curry is finalizing a two-year, $6M deal with the Dallas Mavericks, league sources tell @TheVertical.
Low risk, high potential kind of deal. He showed promise at the end of the last season.

Dirk Nowitzki:
Quote
Marc Stein: Sources: Mavs, Nowitzki have 2-year, $40M deal

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Gerald Henderson to Sixers 2 years, 18 million

Good signing for the Sixers.  Need some wings and he should be a good influence in the lockerroom.

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah

David West to the Warriors for the minimum. I hate the Warriors.

Yeah, the whole "Oh, the Warriors will lose all their depth, they'll be paper thin" argument was silly. Good veterans looking to get a guaranteed ring will take nothing to go there. I predicted West, and Zaza is already there at a huge discount.

To be fair, West was absolutely terrible with the Spurs lol I dreaded seeing him in the game in the OKC series, because they always went on a run when he came in lol

Zaza was absolute highway robbery, though.
