The Bulls are sending Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon, per source.

Wow.

I think free agents will take another look at the Knicks this offseason.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Why?

No one wants to play with Rose.

Time to pick up the phone and tell Paxson, "The only way you're getting Kris Dunn is through me, because I'm taking him at 3."
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

IF Rose can be 75% of what he used to be then this is a good deal for both sides....

Rose is a below average starter at this point.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop  :P
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Why do you say that?

Trading an expiring declining player for future assets is exactly the sort of move a team rebuilding would do. I think they will keep Butler too but who the heck knows. All depends how much they value Dunn.

The noise about trading Butler was never about him or Rose, it was about whether they were comfortable building around Butler. Rose was always on the way out given how much he's declined.
