Though I think the Middleton for #3 rumor is a smokescreen to get Philly to pay more, if we're serious about possibly trading with Milwaukee, we need to focus on Parker not Middleton.

By all accounts, they love Middleton just as much, if not more, than Parker. They're also desperate for a good point guard prospect, and Dunn would fit perfectly in that defensive-minded group. Further, it's no secret that their current trio of Parker, Giannis, and Middleton don't really fit well together, because they all play two spots in the 3/4 forward area. They also severely lack shooting, which is why losing Middleton would be very difficult for them.

Thus, this trade makes a lot of sense all around. Not only do they get their point guard prospect in Dunn that's an absolute perfect fit in defensive-minded Milwaukee, they also add a better-fitting Bradley to their roster, which allows them to shift Middleton and Giannis to the 3 and 4, respectively. Further, Bradley brings much more shooting than Parker, which is severely needed on that squad.

For us, we get our franchise star that would slot in perfectly at the 4 spot for us, and we also get #10, which could be used on a Poeltl type center, combined with 16 to move up and nab one of the consensus top-8, or nab one of the top-8 that falls on draft night.

So who says no? I would love this deal, and I think it works pretty well for both sides. Though I would legitimately be concerned of making Milwaukee a powerhouse in a couple of years, ESPECIALLY defensively.

I love this trade for both teams. You my kind sir have generated a plausible trade. Let's hope Ainge sees this.

I do, too. I know some are not as high on Parker, but he really showed his potential at the end of last year. It'd suck losing Bradley's shooting, but it's replaceable and Jabari is worth it.

There's a lot of smokescreens right now. I thought the Middleton rumor was more about driving down the price of Butler. The Bulls might be wanting Smart or Bradley and the 3. Suddenly, "reports" say that the Bucks and Celtics are talking about a 3 for Middleton swap?

In other words, they're trying to get Butler for only the 3.

I don't think Mil is looking to trade Parker. I haven't heard one rumor that they are looking to move him. I'm thinking Parker and Giannis are the only 2 they wouldn't move.

Good lord no!

Parker looks like a straight up bust right now.  Maybe if you're lucky he becomes the second coming of Jared Dudley - not somebody I would even contemplate trading #3 for.

Every year there is a top 3 guy who is hyped up and ends up a bum.  In 2014/15 that guy was Jabari Parker.  I would say Embiid, but it's still too early to judge him (given he hasn't played a game).  Parker has done nothing at all to impress me to this point.

Jabari Parker looks like the second coming of Jared Dudley right now - at best. He's not a bad player, but he doesn't look like he's worth anything close to a #3 pick right now.

In fact I wouldn't do Bradley for Parker straight up, so sure as hell not throwing #3 in there too.

I would say that you are largely in the minority here lol Parker is worth twice as much as Bradley.

Parker played well in the second half of last season.  After the all star game, he averaged 18.9 points on .498 shooting, shot 32% on 1 3 per game, averaged 6.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

I would definately do this trade and love the idea of landing Poetl too.

You have a strange taste in players man. You don't like Okafor either. You also said Al J and him were similar their rookie years when that is just a blatant lie. Look at Big Al's stats. Also, Big Al was older his rookie year.

Don't really understand how you like Bradley better. I guess you didn't watch the Bucks play against us this past year cause Parker killed us.

Prior to his ACL he looked like he was gonna be rookie of the year. He came back and post all star break averaged 19 and 6.

TP. I don't know where or how to find these kinds of stats for parts of the season.
