This guy has simply the highest floor and the highest ceiling at #3

Jaylen would certainly agree. Jamal Murray, however, has already said he was the best player in the draft. Interesting tidbit i ran across from Sean Devaney:

Quote
Cal freshman Jaylen Brown worked out for the Celtics this week, but according to a source at the workout, it was Danuel House who stole the show, matching up nicely against Brown and showing he has the potential to be a steal as a 3-and-D wing in the second round. ...

From the DraftExpress videos I saw, Brown looks like he's a long way from being impactful to me. Lots of tools, but very few skills and not the highest BBIQ even though he's obviously a very bright kid. Way too many TOs and offensive fouls even in transition.

House is also 3 years older. But i wouldnt mind grabbing him in the 2nd round if we skip on brown

Also wouldnt mind grabbing richardson or beasley if we miss on murray

Kind of like we missed on the name brand but the no name brand will do.....in the end might end up being the same formula or even better (maybe)

I actually found these answers somewhat interesting. His comment on the difference in pace between the NBA and college was compelling, and I love his answer for his favorite current players.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I like his mindset and what he's saying.  Sounds like he is not taking his athletic gifts for granted.  I want to know how the Celtics brass view him after seeing him workout.  They made the decision to draft Rozier based on workouts.  Rondo back in the day based on workouts.  Smart, etc.

I mean I know the scouting played a large part too, but I believe the workouts is where they fall in love with a player.  For Jaylen Brown to be bottled up by a potential 2nd round pick, well it shows he still has work to do on the offensive part of his game.  Not saying he can't become great, but it sounds like a work in progress.

If the Lakers take JB at #2, that means we end up with our choice of Ingram or Bender.  I believe we take the proven scorer in Ingram at that point and a lot of people will be happy with that selection.
