I actually emailed nbadraft.net a little over a week ago when they had like 7 of the picks being SG's or PG's and told them to smarten up on their next mock draft as there's "0.0" chance of that happening. Not sure they smartened up but I told them if the C's keep all their picks I guarantee that at least 5 of them would be 6'7 or bigger.

I posted about that here.  I couldn't believe they had the C's taking all guards!

If Valantine slipped to 23 and the C's picked him up, I'd be pretty excited. I know he's old and can't play defense but he can handle the ball and shoot the lights out. Offensively, he could slip into the rotation (possibly as an Evan Turner upgrade) and defensively, we've seen Stevens can teach guys to be in the right spots at the right time and become productive team defenders.

I'd love him at #23.

The report of DraftExpress on Chriss is lukewarm,

which makes me think they have credible inside information that the Celtics are interested.

One of the youngest players in the draft, not turning 19 until July, Chriss has quite a bit of innate talent that is easy to get excited about, but also some significant red flags on and off the court. He's a long ways away from reaching his full potential at the moment, with his inconsistent motor, approach to the game, and how emotional he appears at times.

Yuck. I really hope Ainge doesn't go with Chriss over Bender. That would be so Aingian and I'd hate it.

Interesting that they have both Zhou Qi and Thon Maker available at the 31st pick and have the Celtics taking Zhou Qi. I think they have similar bust potential and seems like Maker has a higher ceiling.

Agree. The most Aingian moves would be taking Brown or Chriss that early, thus leaving Murray to another team, and watching him become a stud in his first 2 years, only to be followed with endless threads about how Danny had yet another draft miss.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You're a funny fellow. Perhaps you meant "Terry Rozier upgrade".

I am hoping the opposite, that Ainge does not take Bender under any circumstance.   I would not want him to take Chriss at three either though.   We have the third pick in a two player draft and that stinks.
