Danny Ainge is so far ahead of everyone else in this draft it's unbelievable.  It's like watching Garry Kasparov playing against Ken Cohen.  Just unfair.

This is my early pick for post of the night.

One TP already, and I'll be back all weekend plowing TPs into this guy's account.

Haven't laughed this hard all night.

If there were a CelticsBlog HOF for posts, this one belongs in granite.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Sounds like Zizic's status for next year is kind of up in the air:

Ante Zizic said Celtics didn't talk to him about draft and stash: "I need the day to think about it, talk with the guys from the club."
"I really don't want people to understand me." - Jordan Crawford

Ughhh Zizic...

You guys are never satisfied are you

Firstly, we should've only took two guys in the first round and traded the other.

I wanted Davis or Skal over Zizic, but I understand the Zizic pick. My frustration is more about Danny not pulling the trigger on a trade earlier.
what's the confirmed trade offer in particular that is frustrating you?

I was expecting Danny to make a deal but overpaying to get what you want is not a trade worth making.  Still disappointed but will need to see some concrete offer that was fair yet rejected by danny before getting irate

Noel and Covington. I think Noel has a better career as a DPOY than Brown. I question Brown's mentality and focus long-term. But even if he does pan out to be pretty good, that swing position 2/3 is our absolute strongest position. And he doesn't fill the need of shooting or scoring that we need either.

At least Noel would've made us a contender for the top defensive team in the league. I'm also peeved about some other moves, like not being able to move up and grab Chriss for peanuts. Chriss has just as high of a ceiling as Brown and he's just as much of a project, so it doesn't make sense why we wouldn't try and get him. I'm still kind of ticked about not getting Young either for cheap. Yeah, it'll be nice when we have cap space, but we're more than likely not going to be able to get two max free agents anyways.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

If Durant has even an ounce of common sense, he'll laugh Phil Jackson out of the building...
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

3 for Noel, Covington, 24, 26 is more than fair.  We should have taken it.

Yep.

Seeing the Skal Labissiere thing and the Deyonta Davis thing is one of the ways coaches will start telling their players not to leave early

In Zizic Own Words:

“I am a type of modern center. I run the floor very well. I can finish with strong dunks. In defense I can close down the paint. I have the ability to block shots, collect rebounds. Effort is something you must have. It's like other basketball skills. It is something natural. I was born with it.”

“I am 19-years old, so I am still a young player. I can work on everything and can improve every part of my game. For some things I need time, and for some things I need a lot of practice. I practice very hard and I try to watch older and more experienced players. I think I am going on the right way.”

“My dream is playing in the NBA. I still have a contract with Cibona, and I will see. I don't know yet (if he will enter the draft). I think I am ready for the NBA, but I must work a lot. I need more experience to play on a higher level, like the NBA.”

He has the best PER out of Euro Players and the youngest of them all...better PER than Saric, Hernangomez and Luwawu- It sounds like he wont be coming over for a few years though..we will see...
