Who's James Stewart? He says this:
Quote
I believe the Bulls ask price to the Celtics for Jimmy Butler was #3, #16, #23, next years Brooklyn pick, Smart, Bradley and Crowder.

If that is remotely accurate then Wyc was correct.

At least they didn't ask for the TD garden ?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

that's too insane to be believable.  they could ask for that initially but they couldn't reasonably thought they'd get that.

LOL at the certainty with which most of you guys were speaking about Butler to the TWolves .

This board is really slow.  annoying.  Also why do people report that the celtics made a surprising pick at 16.  I think i said ainge was going to do something different there.  What did people really expect then to waste it on overrated talent they don't need?

Because they are knee jerk and make up their minds before the fact, even though this draft is clearly very flat talent wise after the first few picks.  And also because journalists who sit around and mock draft are clearly so plugged in and the best evaluators of talent in the NBA.  So much so that they don't get paid to do it and work as journalists.

That's what I mean though.  They are the ones reporting crap and then they are like surprising pick. It isn't surprising.  They also weren't nice enough to get this board up and running right on the biggest night of the year either. I've worked in IT and don't do that crap to people either.
uncalled for. relax.

It is called for though. I'm trying to watch the draft and post here and it's taking forever lol.

There are at least 30 sites associated with so nation that are going crazy with traffic right now.  Heck, we have like 100 people on this thread alone.  Traffic is gonna be high, and they're not gonna spend 3x the money to make you slightly less inconvenienced 1 day a year.

You're forgetting the 200-300 unregistered guests who are also viewing the thread/site.

Id advise just not paying your SB Nation fee until they fix this.

What a disappointing night. I think Danny has unrealistic expectations after some of his big hits with trades in KG and others.

Or what you said but it's the fans that have the unrealistic expectations.  A minute ago you were saying Butler was a T Wolf.

But who is that dude?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

That's got to be fake. That's just ridiculous, unless they were just trolling Danny lol They're wanting Lavine and Dunn from Minny, so, yeah, that's fake.

Whoever he is, and whether or not that's true, I firmly believe the Bulls asked for more than what that reporter was saying they were. I truly do.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Next year's pick is GOLD.

I'm guessing Tracy Gold based on tonight's picks so far.

If that's the deal, I take back what I said about Danny.
