LOL at this thread.  "I don't know who this player is, so I'm going to assume he sucks because I know more than the GMs paid to make these picks!"

I do know that undersized power forwards are not breakout stars in the NBA. Would you be excited at the prospect of drafting a luminary like the next Zach Randolph? lol! It's not that I assume this guy sucks, it's that I have valid empirical evidence that every small power forward Danny has picked is playing in Europe or China - and I don't have faith in him to evaluate that kind of talent.

He always takes the same guys: combo guards who can't shoot; under-sized power forwards, and some tall dinosaur who lacks the supplemental brain in his but like those poor Brazilian kids.

He's 6' 8" and very big.  Plus shot 44% from three.  I don't see what is not to like at 16 in this draft.  Sorry but I don't care Skal went to UK, he was bad.

Again, reminds me of last year when people were like "what Rozier!?!?!" and it turned out mock drafts were way off and several teams loved him.

Ainge had Butler and screwed it up. Bradley is hurt often...Crowder blue collar

Next year's Brooklyn pick could be 7-10. Ainge dropping the ball.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Or are all those assets too valuable?

On the plus side, it's gonna be a lot of fun to hear Tommy say Guerschon Yabusele.

Mike

Can we just call him Yab?

YABA DABA DU!

Danny might pick Barney in the 2nd round along with Dino :D

That isn't true at all.  Draymond Green, Charles Barkley, Grandmama Larry Johnson, Milsap, and you can go on and on.  Lots of pretty good players have been undersized PFs.

With all the euros you would have thought we take a center. I just don't get the lack of desire from Danny to get bigs??  >:(

[dang it] I really like Lavert

A bit of a stretch after his injuries, though

Reminds me of the Chris McCullough last year
I'm bitter.

Nets will probably take Lab, I doubt they worked out anyone for this slot
Nets take someone who was projected to go mid-second round. I don't know what's going on anymore.

Different positions, but what are the chances this guy becomes better than Thad Young?  Better hope they strike gold with that future 2nd rounder.
