Buddy Heild. He will go with the 4 year guy that can shoot and play defense. Then there have to be other moves in the backcourt.

But seriously, Ainge is gonna reach for Jaylen Brown after failing to trade for Jimmy Butler and I'm gonna break my hand in the aftermath.

What isn't there to like?

I don't think Jaylen Brown has any skills that will allow him to play NBA team basketball. I think he will need to have the ball in his hands to do anything. I think he's at least a few years away from helping a team, and even then who knows if he will ever shoot pass or defend well enough to be a quality part of a decent team.

Bender seems like much less of a stretch. Fewer leaps required to become valuable. Higher ceiling due to his size and apparent shooting.

Dunn is the best all-around player and BPA. Hield is best offensive option. I'd prefer Dunn myself because he's better, but Hield adds a missing ingredient,

Barring a Zinger-level workout, Bender falls behind both of these guys but for some reason, Murray's rated ahead of some of these guys depending on what ranking you look at. I don't see it myself.

I don't think Dunn has the upside to justify taking him at 3.  Not when the Celts already have an All Star at that position for at least a few more years.

The Celts desperately need two way bigs. Bender might be one. Just gotta trust Brad to get the best out of him.

I just watched highlights of Bender, Murray, and Brown, either Simmons and Ingram are just so good or I don't know why people are not happy with us at 3.

I think it's mostly disappointment at missing out on the top two. Those two are the only really good prospects in this draft.

At three it's not easy to say what the definite best selection is.

'Those two are the only really good prospect in this draft'

Do you mean that? I know you cannot go by highlights. Honestly I tried to watch Simmons this year, I really did and he was a huge yawwwwwwn. Is he really that good, I am being serious here. Is Simmons really head and shoulder above Bender Brown and Murray?

I don't know how to feel about the 3rd pick since there's no clear cut #3. Is Bender our guy?

As far as I'm concerned, Bender is our guy. Bender is MY guy. I explained my reasons earlier on page 1.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

It's hogwash to say those two are the only really good prospects.  Those two are a step above the rest, but there are other really good prospects.  This draft isn't 2013.

I think you are right. Dunn looks like he has the highest ceiling.
Dunn and IT at the point. I love it.

Not by a long shot.

I'm all aboard the Murray hype train. That kid is pure. He had one of the best freshman seasons in NCAA history and went unnoticed. That, and he seems like an upstanding and intelligent young man. I would be enamored with him at #3.

I also wouldn't mind Bender because if Ainge drafts him, it means that he believe Bender can reach that high ceiling of his.

Celtics trade Bradley and #16 for Okafor and then draft Kris Dunn at #3.

I mean those are the only two you can draft and feel very good you're getting a potential All Star.  The rest of the draft is pretty hard to parse, other than an above average number of potential role players at PF/C
