It is well understood that dreadlocks can cause postural problems, and neck strain. Crowder is amongst the NBA league leaders for steals at his position. Could he be even better without the dreads slowing him down?

Taller hair helps obscure opponents line of sight, ditch the dreads and go 'fro.

So this is what the offseason is like...
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I think you just get used to the hair and it's just like having 2 lbs more on your upper body. It's nothing.

It's actually well understood that Dreadlocks cause neck strain. They can negatively influence posture as well. Don't get me wrong - he's a great player even with the dreads. But I think they probably weigh closer to 10lbs. Wouldn't he be even better if he wasn't carrying all that weight on his head?

It's possible dreadlocks can cause problems for regular people.  Jae however is a man beast made of muscle, there is almost no chance the locks have any negative effects on him.

I'm pretty sure the locks are where he channels all his power from.  Without them he would just be a regular person working at Subway.

This is a joke, right? Kinda like all the times people said Olynyk needed to cut his hair.

No. That's what gives him his power. Google it. The Indians and ancient Warrior's believed that. He's not all that talented. Don't cut your hair Jae.

Hey, it that's what we're going for, I'm thinking Marge Simpsonesque beehive. That thing would be impossible to shoot over.

When the NBA starts calling fouls on people's hair, yes.

I mean it is probably coming right?   They already call fouls on people's shadows.

This first dawned on me when I was watching the Cavs/Celtics playoff series last year and Shumpert was guarding Isaiah.  I thought that's got to be a nightmare for a guy like Isaiah to see over.  If this was an RPG that would be like +2 Defense when equipping that hairstyle.  More guards should try to do something like that.  Although maybe it makes you less aerodynamic, so +2 Defense but -2 Speed, is it worth it?  :P

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I'll play the game...

What about when Jae is running fast, but then makes a hard cut, doesn't Newton's first law come into effect? If his dreads keep wanting to go one direction, but he now doesn't, that has to slow down his reaction time, right? Right?  ???
