I just re-watched game 4.
With 45 seconds left to go in OT, you can see Stevens call the play from the sideline, and then instruct both Smart and Jerebko on where to go. Smart sets the screen for ET, who made a heck of a move to split the defense and penetrate into the paint. Jerebko runs to the top of the 3-point line, drawing Horford more towards the middle of the floor to give IT enough space to cut to the corner for the wide open dagger 3.
Absolutely masterful.
Stevens has outcoached Bud in my opinion. We have far less talent, far less playoff experience, and we're playing banged up and missing key players, yet we're rolling back to Atlanta tied 2-2 against a Hawks core that has played together for many years. Major props to Stevens and our players.
