Hawks are clearly a better team than we are.  They won 60 games last year and sent 4 guys to the allstar game.  There's no shame in losing to them in 5. Also, this isn't our final form.  If the team cared about the short term they would have made improvements at the deadline.  Instead, we took a long range view and maintained flexibility for this summer.  The franchise doesn't care about these playoffs and neither do I.  Glad we got a win. Whatever.

its true though. Along with the guys we will probably renounce like sully, zeller, Johnson and jerebko, we probably will also let turner walk and there's a solid chance we will see players like Bradley, crowder or smart traded.   Double max cap space, multiple picks, some intriguing trade options - this team might look entirely different next season.  I can't help but feel like I'm watching a bunch of sitting ducks.

you are too willing and eager to pronounce that the celtics have lost. there is a lot of game left and i plan to enjoy it no matter what the outcome.

Alright, we've seen some good stuff from the team this season.

This summer, time to say goodbye to some familiar faces (Sully, Turner, Zeller), and bring in some new guys and try to find some answers to old problems (defensive rebounding, shooting, free throws).

if the celtics can solve the shooting problem, the other two will be minor problems. look at what happens when the celtics make open shots. they are crawling back in the game.

Jerebko has had 2 threes that have gone halfway down.  They just need to make a few more shots and  keep Atlanta from getting hot behind the arc.
