Ben Simmons would probably be #1 for me. Cousins would be a nice consolation but I'm not sure on him.  I'll stick with Simmons as my guy for now.  I'll be actually rooting for the #1 pick this year I feel.  I haven't done that since the Tim Duncan draft. I didn't want it the year we got Smart.  I wanted Smart and we got him.  I wanted Durant over oden in 07 but wasn't disapointed when we got 5 and traded for KG and Ray Ray.   I felt like the C's were primed for a deal that draft.  I sort of kind of really want Simmons here.

A go-to star.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

A go-to star.

Well Simmons would be that.  What better to get a young go to star who we can build with for the next 20 years with this team.  i'd sort of rather a center, but I'm not sold on boogie. It's close.  Simmons and a center as consolation would be nice.

Hield and Ingram is good. Horford etc, etc.  Pairing Stevens with Simmons for the next 20 years is good to me though.  Or Boogie. I'll say Stevens and Simmons though.  That's Belichick and Bradyesque.

The reason I ask this is we have the picks regardless where we can really target exactly what we want.  We might not be able to get it but we can target it.

Kevin Love is still out there.  He'd be an upgrade over Sully and Ainge has been targetting him for a while.  Ainge probably has this all mapped out depending on scenarios. He's talked to teams know what's what I would imagine. I feel like it's all just been smoke so far though for that reason.

The correct answer should be Durant.  If you can add a super star for nothing more than cap space hit, that has to be the best thing for the franchise.

Of course you were. You were totally rooting to get Smart over Andrew Wiggins. As were so many other Celtic fans. The Marcus Smart love is unbelievable.

Durant. The perfect missing piece to make the C's a 60+ win team for the next 5 years.

It starts with Anthony Davis (w/ Asik) for the AJ, JJ, Jae, #1 or 2 overall pick, Dallas pick, Philly and Wolves 2nds, Nets 2018 first, Grizzlies first.

Once you land him
Sign KD.
Sign PP.

Starters:IT, AB, KD, AD, KO
Bench:Rozier, Smart, Pierce, Mickey, Asik
Reserve: Hunter, Young and the 2016 rookies.

Simmons, Ingram, or Bender from the Nets-- then Labissiere from Dallas, and Maker with our own pick.

Durant.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

We get KD and we are better than Cleveland.

I forgot to add Jae in which I just edited. But it's not a bad deal Ingram/Simmons, Jae, JJ, AJ, two likely lotto picks, Dallas 1st, and the seconds are high up all for Davis and Asik. Do remember Davis is a guy coming off season ending early and off season surgery. Asik hasn't done well in their system. It's a huge gamble by C's

I'm not a huge Davis fan at all; I think he's extremely overrated. However, he's almost unreadable. There are really only a handful of teams that could (not should) trade for him: Golden State, Minnesota, Cleveland, Los Angeles (Clippers), San Antonio, and maybe (but probably not) Philly.
