Jakob poetl
Why? Poeltl is 7'1, he's a really good defender with great stats, and he could get 20mpg right away on this team.
Another popular choice I don't understand is Demetrius Jackson. He's like Terry Rozier with a 40% 3pt shot. He's obviously awesome value with a non-lotto pick, though I expect him to go top ten.
He isn't much of a shot blocker. Lacks length as well. Not sure he will make as much of an impact on either side of the floor in the NBA
Yup. Like a 2nd coming of Zeller imo
His block rate is respectable (2.5/40), but it understates his defensive goodness. Awesome post defender, very consistent effort + positioning. 5.6 DBPM. He just doesn't have any weaknesses on that end. Much much much better than Zeller, whose positioning is inconsistent. He can make an impact on offense too--knows how to get open under the basket, and he quelled concerns that he'd be a disaster from the FT line (69% this year compared with 44%). Managed to increase efficiency in huge increase in usage + minutes this year (31 PER, 67TS%).
