Turner knows he improved his level because of Brad and his teammates.
Danny believed in him to be part of something big.
Turner would be stupid to accept better money somewhere else.
40mil / 5 years should be fair.
As for Sully, sorry he's not irreplaceable (Turner and KO are somehow unique and difficult to replace). Plus his conditioning will be a concern with years passing. I won't pay 12 to 15mil for Sully. I would prefer he's in shape and pay him 18mil.
I agree he has exp of it not working out in different teams like Pacers and 76ers
So I think if ainge gave him an offer even if slightly under what he want
He would probably take it
Most guys that have played under Stevens want to stay here
Last season I was hating on turner because he takes possessions and playing time from our younger players
But this season he should be a candidate for 6th man of year
He does a bit of everything
And his versatility is valuable off the bench
I also think from stability view of our team
It is good to keep the team together with minimal players lost in trades and free agency
Like how the Spurs have done it
If we keep vets on board while drafting young talent
We can maintain in contention for a long time
