Bleh. Not gonna get on IT...he's played over his head since coming here...what really more could you expect? Perfection? Not gonna happen. He should be a 6th man and he's essentially embraced and become the temporary face of the franchise and done a [dang] good job, so kudos to him...I'll live with his mistakes because I know hes trying to win.

Isaiah Thomas was not the reason we lost this game.

I submit to you he's the only reason we were in it! Without him on the roster we're looking at a similar record to the Brooklyn nets and no chance to compete in portland.

Who defended Aminu? Cool.

IT has been great and improved a lot as a PG this year.  Not buying the criticisms.

It can definitely be frustrating when it doesn't work, but you gotta consider the situation that Isaiah is in.

We know IT is capable of racking up assists too.  Sometimes he doesn't.  That said, he is one of the more CONSISTENT and CONSISTENTLY EFFECTIVE players we have.  He may play a little hero ball sometimes and while that may be frustrating, he's still a fine player with multiple talents and a lot of heart.

IT would make a quality 6th man on a contender. Mr. instant offense, off the bench. Like Vinnie "the microwave" Johnson use to be in Detroit.

Oh yeah, if Smart isn't the PG of the near future, we need a PG too.

Is Rozier that guy.

Yes it was. 6-20 in no situation is acceptable

Based on +\- this game had a ton to do with smart and ko. Appears they were dreadful. Smarts shooting this year is flat out embarrassing. I had no idea his percentages were so low until I looked yesterday.

Smart now on a par with Ricky Rubio's worst shooting season. Yikes.

After everything Thomas has people still think he's a 6 th man on a contending team?!

Not getting the disdain for Isaiah. Did he have a bad game? Certainly! But this 6th man talk and not a starting PG stuff is getting old. The guy is an all star for crying out loud!! Even all stars have bad nights. Remember, this guy averaged 25/game in March. While we didn't win as much as we would have liked, crowder was hurt a lot too. Isaiah has performed admirably for us and I now say he has every right to be the starting point guard for us next season.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I think it is kind of embarrassing people are still trotting this out while the rest of the league include other players talk about how great he is.

In order to win Isaiah needs to be aggressive and take a lot of shots...make or miss league...perfectly acceptable with this roster for him to go 6-20 albeit unfortunate. If he doesn't score we don't win.

Completely unacceptable to give up a career night to al-scrub Aminu..that was the deciding factor.

Agreed on IT.  Reality is he has had games like this that we won where he doesn't shoot that well but can get to the line and do enough.  We desperately need guys to make their own offense on our team and IT does what he has to.  IT and Turner are the two guys who really take that on (Crowder, Avery, Olynyk to a lesser extent).  If it wasn't for them, we would just have guys mostly standing around.

And a number of Aminu types go off on us.  Athletic and long is a bad match up.

He had a bad game, no denying. He did step up while Jae was out though, and deserves a ton of credit for that.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
