I feel that game was on IT.  He seemed to have gone back to hogging the ball.  Pass the ****n ball!  He had one assist, his 10th in 4 games.  That should tell you all you need to know.  I really don't want label him as padding his stats but it's starting to look that way.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

He might be a little guilty of falling into 1 on 1 one upmanship against certain other point guards.  Lillard qualifies.
Yup

Going for the record, perhaps and not the win.

Well, he definitely padded his turnover and fga stats last night. At this point, I am just looking forward to getting back home from this west coast road trip. I am glad that Crowder is back, but this team needs to re-calibrate. Thankfully they were able to eek out a win against the Suns.

Yeah, he was playing like a ballhog last game. We really did end up losing because of him. I would love to sell high on him honestly, but until then, lets use him to bait FA.

There's usually more than one reason why a team loses a given game; it seems IT hurt the team last night, but it also didn't help that they Cs once again got toasted by a mediocre player—this time Al-Farouq Aminu and his career-high 28 points.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

LOL @ the ones who want to trade him over ball hogging.  Guess you forget what this team looked like before he showed up.  They were 20-32 with one of the worst offenses in basketball.  He comes and they play at a near 50 win pace since.

It can definitely be frustrating when it doesn't work, but you gotta consider the situation that Isaiah is in.  This team has remarkably little offensive talent.  Our #2 scorer in Bradley can barely dribble or pass a basketball.  Our #2 shot creater in Evan Turner is extremely inefficient, even this year when he's getting hyped for his play, he's got a quite poor .509 TS%.  It's pretty incredible that we have an offense ranked around the top 10 with so little offensive talent, and that's a huge credit to Isaiah and his so called ball hogging ways.

When we get more talent, I'm sure he'll be a little more willing to defer (though he's always going to be a score first PG, which isn't a bad thing).  But right now he's far and away our top scorer and his aggressiveness does A LOT more good than it does harm, even if you are going to have some nights where it backfires like last night.

BTW, for all his struggles last night, do you know when the team absolutely collapsed?  As soon as Isaiah left the game late in the 3rd quarter right up until he came back in down 7 in the 4th quarter?  Isaiah finished a +7 in the game.  He's the only thing that keeps this team afloat offensively.

IT is ultimately best a 6th man.

He is such a ball hog sometimes I get so mad.  He was getting his shots altered left and right on the drive/layup and instead of adj, his attitude is 'oh yeah'?  And just keeps trying. Pure detriment to the team

Team passing is bad this season.

How many mediocre players have toasted the Celtics this year. So Isaiah had a bad game and people are screaming for him to go to the bench or get traded? If it weren't for him the Celtics would be in the lottery.

How many other team's do we think have a guy that made the all-star game this season and has their team's fans clamoring for the player to come off the bench? Serious question.....

There's no way we are in the playoffs without IT.

That game was on Brad for not switching to a zone defense.
