up in maine sunday with 28pts and 11 rebounds and 4 blocks on efficient shooting 11-15 and 1-1 from three a dominant performance
i assume he just needed game time  as james young was recalled and didn't play

i have asked the question about our young shooters and how they shoot at practice
well yesterday brad said young shot the lights out at practice after just being recalled

I'd really like to see James Young breakout with a solid shooting night in an NBA game. Just to give him some confidence, and the fans some hope that he will become a solid NBA player someday. I feel like of the four young D-League players we have, Young is in need of a good night.

Mickey, IMO is just some game experience away from helping us this year.

  • That's turrible
Mickey will possibly get his shot now. Crowder played lots of minutes. If not, he's definitely a regular part of the rotation next year. They paid him way too much to just dominate the D League

It's true. I really wish Ainge could've gotten some kind of deal done at the deadline to loosen up some minutes for Mickey.

he does. What do you mean?

he just hasn't had the chance to show anything bc 1) he gets no min/trust for whatever reason. I mean anytime he has had a chance, the team has excelled on the court   2) the guys are not passing him the ball by design or again lack of trust

Brandon Bass had NBA-level offensive talent.  He spent years as a starter and key contributor on playoff teams.

I can't see any reason why Mickey can't become at least as good as Bass offensively.  Early on Bass' only offensive talent was midrange jumper (which Mickey as also).  It took years before Bass could finish effectively around the basket, and it wasn't until his last year here that he started hitting the odd three.

Mickey can already finish at the basket pretty well, and already has some signs of three point range.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
As we know he is great upside. I was impressed with him during the garbage time last night. I see him getting some minutes in real time in the coming games. Rozier and Hunter also looked good. Young needs to play summer league and Pray to be on thsi team next year.

Lol whether he does or not, he's still gonna be useless for us. Prove me wrong James!
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Plenty of third year players have played summer league games. WE shall see if James Does.
I am going to some summer league games. I will get you a James Young autograph if you like.
