Draymond Green had zero points on three shots at halftime of the Golden State Warriors' win at the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Green went on a profanity-laced tirade in the locker room, according to Lisa Salters.

“I am not a robot. I know I can play. You have me messed up right now. If you don't want me to shoot, I won't shoot the rest of the game.”

 

“Was Lisa in the locker room?” Steve Kerr asked. “Things get emotional occasionally and we were all angry at the way we played in the first half."

Green finished the game with two points but also had 14 rebounds, 14 assists, six steals and four blocks.

Kerr said the outburst was “very unusual” from Green.

“But that's all I'm gonna say about it, because it's our private business,” Kerr said. “But since everybody heard all the yelling, you guys can write whatever you want. But I'm not gonna comment on that.”

Another possible Ainge target this off-season ?

We'll give them KO and some picks , maybe even brk if it falls out of the top 3

if the c's 's let Sully go

 trade KO , some of the other young guys (Rozier, Hunter, Young) along with the brk pick and maybe dallas pick  for Green

They could possibly have room to add Green and sign Horford to amax  near max , while leaving enough cap space to sign another near max player .

I think we would have something around 70 mil with Green and Horford on the salary leaving another 22 mil or so in cap room , maybe closer to 15 mil( not good with cap holds )

Still you can add another legit player like Batum , Noah (if health checks out), Ryan Anderson , Parsons

Could have something like

IT             / Smart
AB           /  Hunter
Crowder  / Turner
Green     /  Anderson
Horford   / Mickey

With a few brk picks left to play with , plus our own draft picks .

That team is a contender IMO , Detroit Pistons 04 comes to mind

Golden State isn't trading Green.

It's interesting to think about how a guy's surroundings affect his reputation, though.  If Green played on a losing team, people would call him a huge malcontent.  He picks up a ton of techs, he's constantly getting in other guys' faces, now he's blowing up about his role.

Put him on a good team, though, and people praise his passion.

Even the greatest teams ever don't last forever. Wouldn't be the first time a great team crumbled apart because of locker room problems but some great teams just morph into better teams with a change in personnel. Trading Green and bringing in Durant could keep GSW as one of the greatest teams ever but with a change in the #2 star in a three star team and also the addition of a top 5 pick.

GSW stays great

But they help build their conqueror by sending Green to Boston where he becomes the number 1 star in a defensive juggernaut of a team that eventually takes down the Warriors the year after next. It will be at that point that the Horford/Green/Crowder/Smart/Thomas/Bradley/Turner/2017 #1 pick(Nets win lottery we swap)/2018 top 3 pick(Nets win top 3 pick) wins their first title.
